A couple who have been swinging for years explained that there are five things to bring on a spicy cruise which nobody tells you about, but they wish they'd known right from the start.
Bella and Jase are high school sweethearts who got together in 2007 and after seven years decided to give swinging a go, a decision they say they really don't regret.
Since embracing the swingers lifestyle, they've been on a number of spicy cruises where there are plenty of passengers looking to roll about on the high seas.
However, if any of you are thinking about giving it a go, they've got some advice on the things you should bring with you which they wish they'd known about from the first voyage.

There's five main things which they reckon you should pack that you probably wouldn't think about.

Reflective sunglasses
When taking a trip, plenty of you will pack sunglasses, but Bella and Jase wanted to stress that you should be going for ones that are so reflective that nobody can see what's behind them.
That's so 'when you put them on people can't tell what you're looking at', so your eyes can be darting all around and nobody will know if you're staring at them, unless you turn your head and not just your eyes.

They said it made for 'fantastic people watching', and if you're on a cruise you'll probably want to give that a go to scope out other people to have fun with or just indulge in a spot of guessing what they're up to.

Portable colour-changing lights
Second on the list is an illuminating entry which the couple say will 'completely change the vibe of your room', presumably for sexy reasons.
They explained that if you get some colour-changing lights, it'll 'totally make a different environment' wherever you are, and if you're on a spicy cruise then a spot of ambient lighting 'makes it so much more spicy, sensual' for everyone involved.

It turns out that 'if you want to be the party room definitely bring some lights', so now you know.
Maybe not a blacklight, though.
Towel bands
This one's more for practicality on the cruise ship than for the stuff swingers are known for getting up to, so it's a travel tip which is really useful for anyone thinking about taking a cruise.

They recommended getting towel bands to stop your towels from blowing away while on the deck of a ship.
Bella and Jase had their names on the bands so everyone knew who the towels belonged to, along with the upside-down pineapple sign so people would know they were swingers.
In case you didn't know, the upside-down pineapple can be a sign of the swinger community and a way for members to advertise themselves to others who know what's going on.

Portable speaker
There are plenty of people who wouldn't be caught dead heading off somewhere without their portable speaker, but on a spicy cruise it's just as handy.

"We don't want to play loud music out in public, but whenever you're getting ready in your room before you go to dinner or maybe getting ready for the theme night, having a little bit of just music that's not too loud just to kind of set the tone," the couple said.
"Also, for late nights, playroom spicy time, having people back in your room, you can completely change how the room feels with a portable speaker."
I'm sure you can.

Magnets
You might be wondering what these have got to do with swingers on a cruise, but it turns out the answer is simple.
The couple explained that since so many of the surfaces on a cruise ship were metal, you could stick magnets everywhere without damaging the walls.
Whatever else is going on, you're still on a cruise and more storage space is always going to be welcome.
They explained that they liked using ones with hooks to hang things from as they were 'really small and you can put them anywhere'.
Hopefully not anywhere, or at least not without a good strategy to remove them, lest you become the latest in a long line of people having to explain to a medical professional that you 'tripped and fell' in a very suspicious manner.
