Breaking Bad's Walter White and Jesse Pinkman are back in action in a new scene, although this time it's not crystal meth they're cooking.

The tumultuous tale of Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston's characters officially came to an end with the 2019 movie El Camino, but the actors obviously haven't been able to resist stepping back into the world of addictive substances.

Take a look for yourself below:

When I say 'addictive substances', it's not illegal drugs I'm referring to this time, but salty snacks. Much more legal, but still tough to quit once you've started.

The two actors reprised their Breaking Bad roles ahead of the Super Bowl on 12 February; an event known for having some of the most-talked-about adverts on TV.

In the scene, the two drug dealers are back in their portable lab and celebrating how tasty PopCorners snacks are while being baked, not fried.

Similar to his lesson about crystal meth, Walter explained the crisps were simply made up of 'basic ingredients' before Jesse exclaimed that everyone was going to want a taste of their incredible creation.

Cranston and Paul weren't the only ones to return to their Breaking Bad days as they were joined in the advert by Raymond Cruz, who played distributor Tuco in the series.

This creation is far more legal than their last venture.

The creators had obviously been busy in their snack lab as Jesse revealed they had 'six signature flavours' to choose from, but that wasn't good enough for Tuco as he demanded another new pack from the pair.

Seeing Cranston and Paul back in action so many years after Breaking Bad came to an end delighted fans, and many were quick to flood the PopCorners YouTube channel with praise for reprising the beloved characters.

"Is really cool to see these characters in any new context - even if it just for a commercial lol," one fan wrote, while another commented: "If companies kept making awesome ads like this there would be no need for a skip button for me."

A third added: "5 years later I am gonna be returning back here just to watch a good super bowl ad."

Fans are likely to see Walter and Jesse back again in another advert released on the day of the Super Bowl, and you just know there's one catchphrase begging to be spoken.

After all, after all that knocking, it looks like Walter White is now the one who pops.
