Boss has made masturbation breaks a ‘permanent policy’ for her staff

The boss of an adult film company has opened up on her 'masturbation policy' at work.

Erika Lust is the boss of an adult film company who has made masturbation breaks a ‘permanent policy’ for her 40 plus staff.

The daily 30-minute masturbation break was introduced back in May 2021 to act as a 'self-pleasure routine' for the employees of Erika Lust Films.

Not sure why people would need 30 minutes, but there you go.

Founded in 2005, the company focuses on providing content for 'indie adult cinema' as published author Lust promotes a 'totally uncensored' approach to her work.

This includes her employees having a w*** break in the office, with the use of sex toys for a helping hand.

"In 2021, a year into the pandemic, I started noticing my team and myself struggling," she explained in her blog.

"Years of pandemic life had started to take their toll on us. We were less focused, more agitated and overall more anxious.

"As someone who’s been leading a company with 40+ employees for over a decade, I believe that there is nothing more harmful to a successful work environment than stress.

"It kills creativity, makes people feel less confident in themselves and causes problems in communication.

"I wanted to do something to help my team cope with the stress of the Covid-19 pandemic."

"So last May (2021), I decided to dedicate Masturbation Month to my team by giving them an extra 30-minutes off every day to use for their self-pleasure routine," she continued.

"I set up a private room in the office which we call 'the masturbation station' to provide them with a safe, comfortable space for their masturbation break."

Lust firmly believes that masturbation makes you 'happier, more relaxed and more focused'.

"It is also a proven creativity booster and it increases your focus and drive to get things done," she said.

"But masturbation break wasn’t only about trying to help my employees feel better in these trying times, I also wanted to do something to normalise masturbation on a broader scale.

"Sexual wellbeing is deeply intertwined with your overall mental health and physical health and should be treated with the same respect and resources."

Back in 2022, Lust's company partnered up with sex toy company Fun Factory - a German-based manufacturer - to provide employees with a 'free sex toy of their choice'.

During that same year, it was revealed in a study that 14 percent admitted to partaking in some self-gratification during work hours.

The survey - conducted by Chemist4U, which interviewed 2,000 people - revealed that over a fifth of men (22 percent) have masturbated at work while seven percent of women have partaken in some alone time.

It's not known how many of Lust's staff make use of the office 'masturbation station'.
