Betraying your barber may well be worse than cheating, but one bloke decided to visit another spot nearly 2,000 miles away for his most recent haircut.
Everybody knows just how expensive going for a trim has become, despite the fact that there appear to be hairdressers on every street in the UK, and one lad decided that enough was enough.
Muscab Salad suggested that Arab countries are well regarded for their cheaper haircut options, and after spotting a plane to Morocco for just £15, the 22-year-old decided that travelling 1,900 miles may well be his best plan of action.

He wanted to get a fresh new look ahead of a trip to Barcelona, as the last thing you'd want to do is get caught with a dodgy barnet in Spain, and he even managed to head straight to Catalonia on a shorter flight from Morocco, after successfully finding a barber in North Africa for a fraction of the price he would have paid in the big smoke.
Muscab, from West London, said: "My barber charges £35, I think that's the average price for London. I tend to get my haircut in the UK and I'm loyal to my barber but thought it was a good idea to go abroad.

"It's kind of fun to get a haircut when you're on holiday. I went to Skyscanner and flights to Marrakech were £15. I went to the hostel, went walking and found a haircut.
"I was happy with the result, it was just as good [as haircuts back home]. I'd recommend [as] you get a free holiday.

"I think it's fun, it's way cheaper and you get more of an experience. Barbers are associated with Arab countries [...] so you should definitely do that, you get an experience out of it.
"Some people were surprised about how this was possible. They have very different income levels, it's just a better deal to go to Morocco.
"There was a language barrier but it wasn't too bad, I went to Barcelona for £12 after."
Muscab even landed himself a spot in a plush hotel for just £10, which perhaps just goes to show how much we get ripped off in this delightful country, and after spending just £8 on his haircut there, his total came to just £39, which is £2 less than the haircut and travel he usually spends in London.
He also shared footage of his travels on TikTok, amassing over 100,000 views and leaving commenters baffled as to how he managed to pull it off.
One wrote: "I actually thought about this a few times before. I get a really good haircut from the same barber every time I'm in Morocco for 50dh (£4) and thought to myself 'I could fly to Morocco and it would still be cheaper than London."

Another said: "The point isn't just the haircut. It's a holiday too. I enjoyed watching this. I do a beard trim too so this would deffo be worthwhile for me."
Who knows, if Manchester United ever win five games in a row, perhaps that bloke from TikTok can use his new money and fame to get a proper haircut in Morocco too, even if it takes longer to cut the hair than travelling nearly 2,000 miles would.
