A teenager who was tragically eaten alive by a pack of bears spoke some harrowing final words to her mother as she died.
Olga Moskalyova was out walking with her stepdad, Igor Tsyganenkov, back in 2011 when they realised they'd left behind a fishing rod, where they'd been hanging out in the village of Termalniy, near Petropavlovsk Kamchatskiy, in the east of Siberia.
However, what should have been a routine return trip turned into a fatal situation after they attracted the attention of a group of brown bears.
Olga could only watch on in horror as her stepfather brutally had his skull crushed and neck broken when the bears launched an attack, with the 19-year-old attempting to flee.

Unfortunately, she didn't get far away before a bear bit into her leg, and it was at this point she called her mother Tatiana, as she desperately sought some help, and perhaps some comfort, in what would prove to be her final moments.
She said: “Mum, the bear is eating me! Mum, it’s such agony. Mum, help!”

At first, the mum assumed her daughter was joking, but she quickly realised this was a very serious situation, as she 'heard the real horror and pain in Olga's voice, and the sounds of a bear growling and chewing'.
She ended the phone call to try and reach Igor but received no answer, as he had passed away at this point after being mauled by the bear and its family.

However, she remained hopeful when she received a second call from Olga, only for her daughter to deliver a devastating update.
Olga said: “Mum, the bears are back. She came back and brought her three babies. They’re... eating me."
It was at this point that Tatiana tried to contact other family members and emergency services but it was sadly too late for either of them to be saved.

She did however, receive a third call from Olga in what was her last moments, where she had some heartbreaking final words for her mother.

The teenager said: “Mum, it's not hurting any more. I don't feel the pain. Forgive me for everything, I love you so much.”
Igor's brother Andrei finally arrived on the scene alongside police, only to discover the bears feasting on the remains of Olga and her stepfather Igor, with hunters later called to kill the family of bears.
Tatiana concluded: “My daughter was such fun. She was so cheerful, friendly, and warm.
"She had graduated from music school, and just days before the bear attack, she got her driving licence."
Experts have since explained the reason they believe Olga and Igor were attacked, with theories suggesting that the mother bear might have simply been trying to protect her cubs.
