A TikTok creator has been praised after surprising her grandad with a 'dream' trip to Amsterdam for his 83rd birthday.
Aine-Kennedy, who goes by @ainekennedyyy on the platform, documented the moment she surprised her grandad on his special day on TikTok.
In the video, she explains how it has always been her grandad's 'dream' to go to the Dutch capital, and said he even wears some marijuana socks she brought him the last time she visited Amsterdam herself.

The TikToker surprised her grandad with a scratch card-style travel ticket she said she bought from Amazon.
To reveal the destination, a coin is required to scratch off the card - and you can always trust grandads to have a coin handy in their pocket!

As the anticipation builds for the content creator, grandad Billy is seen starting to scratch the card with his coin until he realises where he is going with, of course, a huge smile on his face.
"Oh my god, Really!" he said as he realises he is heading for Amsterdam.

The elated man sat back in his chair and is told the trip is not too far away as Aine-Kennedy revealed in the comments section that they are set to depart on 11 October, which is just under two weeks away.

He then went over to his granddaughter to hug her for the amazing surprise of his 'dream' trip.
Fans of the content creator have been reacting to the surprise in the comments of the video, which has over 42k likes on TikTok.
One comment read: "this is so lovely can't believe he's 83 wow he looks brilliant," while a second added: "Why do I love that he has change in his pockets, proper grandad, he’s adorable."

Aine-Kennedy's grandad is no stranger to the content creator's TikTok page though, as he has appeared on many videos and has become somewhat of an online celebrity.

Grandad Billy is often filmed testing these products and taking part in funny shorts with his granddaughter.
The pair have even recently appeared on TV together on the breakfast show Ireland AM.
