A series of leaked images have confirmed several rumours about Tom Holland's upcoming Spider-Man movie. Warning: Spoilers ahead.

Spider-Man: No Way Home sees Peter Parker team up with Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange against Jamie Foxx's Electro and Alfred Molina's Doctor Octopus.

This comes after Marvel previously confirmed a major fan theory about Tom Holland's character and rumours that William Dafoe, who plays Green Goblin, was going to be the main villain in the latest Spidey film were proven true

The leaked images, if they are legitimate, would confirm rumours of a live-action take on the Spider-Verse in No Way Home, with former Peter Parker actors Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire captured in their Spidey costumes in the same scene as Tom Holland.

Charlie Cox, who played Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the MCU Netflix series Daredevil and the Defenders, also looks to be involved in the latest Spider-Man venture. If true, this will be his first MCU appearance outside of Netflix.

A fan account on Twitter called Spider-Man NWH Updates and Leaks, which has more than 39,000 followers, posted the images on 9th November 2021. You can see the images in the tweet below.

Garfield, who starred as the web-slinger in The Amazing Spider-Man films and TV series, had previously denied any involvement with the latest MCU movie during press conferences for his other projects.

Likewise, Tobey Maguire, who fronted Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy has always denied any rumours that he was involved with the MCU. But seeing him alongside Garfield and Holland is too much of a coincidence.

Holland will also be joined by Zendaya, who reprises her role as Parker's love interest MJ, and Jacob Batalon, who plays Parker's BFF Ned.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is due in cinemas on 17th December 2021.
