The second season of the Emmy Award-winning drama Euphoria, which stars Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney and Hunter Schafer, has definitely seen the heat turn up a notch compared to season one. The drama shares a group of teenagers in high school who navigate difficult issues like toxic relationships, drug addiction, sexuality and mental health illness.

Warning: Euphoria Season Two spoilers ahead

The first episode of season two saw Fez brutally beat up Nate, and the second episode touched upon the aftermath, including that very real dream which saw Nate envisioning Cassie pregnant with their child. So, is there a chance that she could really be pregnant in season two?

What happened in Episode 2, Season 2 of Euphoria?

In Episode 2, Season 2 of Euphoria, titled “Out of Touch”, Maddy and Cassie take Nate to the hospital after Fez attacked him at the party.

In Nate’s unconscious state, he ends up dreaming about Cassie, where he fantasises about having a future and a child with her.

Is Cassie really pregnant in season 2 of Euphoria?

In short, no. We’re pretty certain that this was just a dream, and Cassie isn’t actually pregnant in season 2.

Although, the pair did hook up again in the second episode, so it’s possible the pair could have a baby together in the future if they decide to progress their relationship.

If you cast your mind back to season one, you’ll recall that Cassie actually got pregnant in season 1 with McKay. Cassie got an abortion after McKay voiced his views to her, even though she wanted to raise the baby.

This could mean that in future, if Nate were to get her pregnant, the pair would raise the child together.
