Sylvester Stallone, 71, Does Pull Ups With 100lb Weight

Sylvester Stallone has proved he's still an action hero sharing a video of himself doing weighted pull ups. Fair play.

Because he's in such impressive shape, it's easy to forget that the actor is 71 and it seems that even he forgets how old he is, captioning the video: "Another easy workout! You're only as old as you and your joints feel! LOL." Cool, well that makes me 109 then, Sly.

In the clip, the actor can be seen doing pull ups while carrying a 100lb (45kg) weight around his waist - sadly, he wasn't listening to the Rocky theme tune while working out.

He often posts videos and photos of him working out, recently sharing one of himself listening a 100lb weight saying he was 'pushing the limits'. I feel a bit knackered just looking at him. Have a rest, pal.

The post showing the Rocky star in such good health comes just weeks after a bizarre Internet hoax declared he was dead.

A number of sick posts were shared online claiming he had been found dead at his LA home - tributes flooded in from heart-broken fans who had fallen for the hoax and the man himself was forced to step in and clear up the rumours.

Two days after the first posts appeared, Stallone took to social media to help clear up the rumours writing: "Please ignore this stupidity...Alive and well and happy and healthy...Still punching."

He followed this up by sharing a video of him locking his daughters out during a hailstorm with the caption: "It's so great to be back from the dead!"

And that wasn't even the first time the Oscar-winning actor has been forced to prove he's not dead. Around 18 months ago, another rumour started that he'd 'died' following a long, secret battle with prostate cancer.

Of course, Stallone isn't unique when it comes to bizarre death rumours online; a new one seems to pop up every few months, recently Jaden Smith was at the centre of another, with sinister claims doing the rounds that he had died after taking his own life. Let's hope that one day these weirdos who make up such rumours find a more worthwhile hobby.
