People Shocked To Find Out Chelsea Peretti Is Married To Jordan Peele

Some people find it fascinating when their favourite celebrities end up getting hitched. Jordan Peele and Chelsea Peretti are those people for many who have only recently found out that they're a couple. This video explains it:

Peele, who directed the 2017 film Get Out, and Brooklyn Nine Nine star Peretti got married back in 2016 and fans can't quite believe it.

A video that recently went viral explained how Peretti, 43, has some 'weird connections'. The clip has racked up over 2.4 million views and people are shook.

TikTok user Kelvy shared the clip she had put together on her page which is all about 'celeb drama'. In this particular video she explains how Peretti's brother is the CEO of Buzzfeed and The Huffington Post.

She then highlights who her husband is before incorrectly stating Get Out was based on their relationship.

The TikToker says: "She's married to Jordan Peele who wrote Get Out. Concept was literally based on him meeting her family."

Clearing this up afterwards, she went on to correct herself: "I was wrong, I should not have said the words 'literally based on'. I was talking more of like his experience dating white woman in general and meeting their families.

"I had no idea the movie was actually inspired before they even met."

She then cuts to an interview of Jordan speaking about writing the movie before meeting Chelsea, where he goes on: "So at the very least I was not like 'hold on one second honey I have to go write something'.

"That would have been awkward. That would have been weird."

Kelvy's video has ended up getting nearly 330,000 likes and commenting on it, one person asked: "What, she's married to Jordan?"

Another added: "I had NO IDEA she was married to Jordan Peele!!!" While a third wrote: "JORDAN PEELE. IS MARRIED???????? TO CHELSEA....... PERETTI?????? WHY AM I JUST NOW FINDING OUT ABOUT THIS???" Dunno, but you need to calm down.

Another feature of the TikTok video was highlighting that Chelsea Peretti is IRL childhood friends with B99 co-star Andy Samberg.

People found the entire thing adorable and there were some cracking ideas off the back of the picture including working it into the show somehow.
