Susan Boyle has made her TikTok debut with a video where she can be seen dancing with her friends:

The 59-year-old star, who rose to fame when she gave an unexpected rendition of 'I Dreamed A Dream' on Britain's Got Talent, threw some shapes to the track 'Laxed (Siren Beat)' by Jawsh 685.

She can be seen at a safe distance in between two others wearing a floral dress and sun hat as she took on her first TikTok video.

The short clip also features the Blackburn born singer's personal assistant Geraldine Easton and vocal coach Chris Judge.

Speaking to the Daily Record, Chris said: "We were doing a socially distanced practise session and it was the first time I'd been out of the house.

"At the very end of the session the subject of TikTok came up in the conversation and I talked about how all the kids are doing it.

"I said I was absolutely not doing one but Susan said let's do it and I got roped in for a bit of fun at the end. There is never a dull moment when Susan is around."

It's not known whether Susan will be making her own TikTok to share videos with fans, but maybe next time she will be showing her followers how to make a proper brew after an American TikToker went viral with her (quite frankly offensive) tutorial.

An American woman went viral showing people how to 'make' (ruin) a cup of tea.

If you didn't see this first of all - where have you been? Secondly, let us explain. A woman called Michelle, who goes by the handle of @jchelle36 on TikTok, decided to share a tutorial video showing the world how to make a nice cup of 'hot tea' or 'British tea'.

Michelle - who lives in the UK and has more than 166,000 followers on TikTok - appears with her daughter in the clip. She proceeds to fill a mug with water from the tap and pops it into the microwave for a minute.

Her daughter then pours an inordinate amount of milk into the mug of, er, microwaved water, before dropping the teabag in. "Add the sugar!" Michelle says in the voiceover, while her daughter pours approximately an entire packet into the mug.

"Give it a little stir, and that's how you make hot tea!"

Susan, show them how it's done.
