Wayne Lineker Will Appear On Next Series Of Celebs Go Dating

Wayne Lineker has revealed he'll take part in the next season of E4's Celebs Go Dating.

The club owner shared the news on Instagram, where he said he was 'immensely excited' to be appearing on the show.

The 58-year-old will be joined by fellow single celebs Chloe Ferry, Curtis Pritchard, Kimberly Hart-Simpson, Sophie Hermann, Tom Zanetti and Karim Zeroual.

This year, the celebrities taking part will be shacked up in a mansion together while the show's experts spend a month trying to find them true love.

E4 said: "Celebs Go Dating is back and supercharged for 2021, it's bigger, bolder and sexier than ever.

"For the very first time, the celebs and their potential matches will all bed down together in one very plush mansion.

"There'll be dates, drinks and drama, and most importantly, there'll be nowhere to hide!"

Talking about his upcoming appearance, Lineker said: "After being single for over two years, I am so ready to meet somebody I can hopefully spark a romance with.

"I've heard great things about the agency, and that Anna, Paul and Tom give sound advice.

"I'm excited to see the potential dates that the agents bring to the table, and hopefully learn a few things about myself along the way."

But it'll have to be a pretty special woman to impress Lineker, if his past list of relationship demands is anything to go by.

Earlier this year, Lineker raised a few eyebrows after he posted a long list of attributes he's looking for in a partner.

The post, which was accompanied by a selfie, begins: "OK - Let's start this off like I'm normal: strong nice loving personality."

But it continues on to outline 'more important' factors, saying: "You must like older men but only me... You have to be a worldie and above 30 (OK 28 29 could work) but not my age as that would just look weird.

"You must like to travel and to fly business class and stay in incredible hotels. Be prepared to give up your career or job or at least be able to work from a laptop on a tropical beach somewhere.

"You will need to spend the summer in Ibiza and the winter in Dubai with 2 weeks in UK for Christmas and new year with the families and holidays to the Maldives."

He later updated the post to clarify that it was 'tongue in cheek banter' but I guess we'll all find out just how picky he really is when Celebs Go Dating airs next year.
