There's been another twist in the goings on between Shailene Woodley and Aaron Rodgers after a former teammate of the NFL star spoke out to side with him.
The quick version of this kerfuffle is Rodgers claimed to the Not Just Football podcast that when he'd proposed to Woodley she'd said yes and then a couple of days later told him 'before we get married I gotta go **** this guy'.
He then said that a few months later she 'took off the ring' and their engagement fell apart and a couple of attempts to patch things up fell to pieces and she told him 'I don't want to be with you', so by the time 2022 rolled around there was no relationship to end.
When asked about his comments on Sunday (13 September) she decided not to say anything and the Divergent star laughed it off.

Wading into things is Rodgers' former Green Bay Packers teammate James Jones, who went onto the Speakeasy podcast and dug into what had been said.
He started by saying that Rodgers was 'my dog' and they still spoke often, adding that his former teammate's claims about what Woodley had said would have ended the relationship.
Jones said: "We all got girls, had girls. If they say this, it's a wrap. I don't know what else to tell y'all on this topic. It's a wrap, and to kind of blame it on my dog for what you're dealing with and all that type stuff, that's crazy."
The ex-NFL star was asked if Rodgers had gone over the line by revealing these details from his relationship but as far as Jones was concerned the answer to that was 'no' as he thought Woodley was 'blaming him for certain stuff'.
"If somebody came out saying stuff about you that wasn't true, you're going to address it, and you're going to defend yourself. So for me, Aaron Rodgers, man, this is him defending himself, man," his former teammate declared.

In the past Woodley had told Outside magazine that her relationship with Rodgers was 'not right', but also 'beautiful, and described a time as being the 'lowest low of [her] life'.
"I felt like I lost my soul, my self, my happiness, my joy," she said.
"I really understood depression and anxiety and, like, complete soul detachment. I knew I was depressed when I looked at a tree and felt nothing."
LADBible has approached representatives of Shailene Woodley for comment.
