Abbie Chatfield says she was ‘slut shamed’ by ‘table of boomers’ over her outfit

Abbie Chatfield says she was ‘slut shamed’ by ‘table of boomers’ over her outfit

The table said they 'would be ashamed if their daughter wore that top out'.

Abbie Chatfield has hit back against a table of people who apparently criticised her outfit.

The Australian A-lister posted a video to Instagram where she ripped into the 'boomers'.

She said they were 'loudly' talking about what she was wearing and said they 'would be ashamed if their daughter wore that top out'.

"Sorry you have nothing left to talk about in ur crusty relationships," Abbie said.

"Ur kids probably would be the ones ashamed if they heard what you were saying!!!

"Me wearing a hot top doesn’t compare to you spending your night focusing on my t*ts and making it the main topic of conversation."

In the video she posted on social media, she's wearing a stunning black top with mesh cutouts.

However, it's unclear whether this was the top that sparked the conversation.

People flocked to the comments section to commend Abbie for standing up to the people.

One fan said: "I’d be more upset if my daughter was this hot and didn’t wear this top out."

Another added: "Thanks for being so positive about this. My 14 yr daughter got screamed at by a woman for wearing her bikini up to the shops at the beach - meanwhile boys with no shirts on. I hate the hypocrisy."

A third said: "Babe if I looked as fine as you, I'd be wearing that outfit to my weekly grocery shop."

There were a few older people in the comments who tried to defend their generation.

"As a boomer, my friends and I would be sitting there focusing on how good the wine was, enjoying the food, not giving a damn what anyone around us was wearing or doing .. not all boomers are judgemental," one said.

However, others seemed to join in with the 'table of boomers' and said there was a time and place for outfits like that and restaurants aren't one of them.

Abbie posted another story to her account and said her friends on the night spoke up and made sure the table could hear what they were saying.

Chatfield called the main offender a 'sexist pig' just loud enough that he could hear it.
