Rapper Aitch has spoken out about the ‘real reason’ he’s going on I’m A Celebrity.
Aitch was the most surprising name of all the celebs announced for the 2025 lineup of the show, which kicks of its new season this Sunday, November 16.
Despite a brand new rule to shake things up, many have criticised the lineup for this year’s edition of the ITV show, but the Manchester-based musician is inarguably the biggest name to appear.
It was revealed by The Sun yesterday that the 25-year-old from Moston would be earning the most of all the celebs this year, £250,000, however, that is not the real reason that Aitch is going on the show.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, Aitch spoke about his heartwarming relationship with his sister Gracie and how that motivated his decision to go on the show.
Aitch’s relationship with his sister Gracie and why it motivated I’m A Celeb appearance

Aitch’s sister Gracie, who is now 13, was born with Down Syndrome, with the rapper looking to raise awareness around the genetic condition.
The musician, whose real name is Harrison Armstrong, has spoken about how he ‘wouldn’t be half the man he is now’ without Gracie, stating that it taught him to treat everyone equally.
Speaking about how people judge her for having Down Syndrome on Jamie Laing’s Great Company podcast, Aitch spoke about how she used to grab him every night before bed and tell him ‘don’t be afraid’.
He went on to add that people may look in a room and assume ‘she’s the one that needs to be afraid more than anyone else’, before adding: “It’s just not the case, she’s just absolutely living her best life. It’s funny how every time she says it now I feel like I could walk outside and take on the Hulk you know what I mean.”
Why Aitch is going on I’m A Celeb and his Down Syndrome advocacy
The celeb has been an outspoken advocate for people with Down Syndrome, acting as an ambassador for the Down Syndrome association and even took part in a charity skydive to raise money for the charity.
He has spoken about his goal to raise awareness for people with the genetic condition, saying: “I'm not only just doing it for people with Down Syndrome, I'm doing it for people around as well.
“I don't want anyone to be like disheartened or feel sh*t if they do find out someone in the family's got Down Syndrome. It's a blessing.
“My main thing, really and truly, is because I don't want Down Syndrome to be seen as a negative thing.
“I don't want anyone to go… my kid's got Down Syndrome, or my sister's got Down Syndrome and anyone to have the reply of, 'Oh, I'm sorry to hear that.'"
“It's just definitely not the case. They're the best people in the world.”
He revealed his sadness to learn that abortion the day before a child is born is allowed if they find out they have Down Syndrome, saying: "I've just learned certain things over the years that make me a bit sad. In terms of you can be a day before giving birth, and if you find out your child's got Down Syndrome, you can still have the option to terminate it.
"Whereas in another situation, if your kid doesn't have that, you've only got a certain amount of time before you can abort."
