TV star Alison Hammond has shut down rumours that she used weight loss jabs to help her shed some pounds, explaining how a health scare kick-started her weight loss journey.
The This Morning presenter, 51, has incredibly lost 11 stone over the last five years and says it's all down to overhauling her diet and working out consistently.
But as we live in an age where every man and his dog is taking GLP-1 drugs like Ozempic, some people suspected that this was the route that Hammond had gone down too.
However, the mother-of-one has now set the record straight and laughed off speculation that GLP-1 medication has helped her get into shape.

"People are going to assume anything," Hammond told The Telegraph in a new interview. "They weren’t happy with me being big; they weren’t happy with me being small."

'I was one point away from being diabetic'
Hammond said that at one point, she was 'one point away from being diabetic'. "My mom was diabetic, so I’d seen what a struggle it was," she said. "I literally needed to be able to walk up the stairs."
Discovering she was pre-diabetic is what kick-started her weight loss journey, as the former Big Brother star explained this sobering news forced her to completely transform her lifestyle.
She previously explained that she cut out 'sweets and fatty foods', while also exercising regularly - and she has managed to reverse her pre-diabetes.
Hammond - who weighed 28 stone at her peak - explained she works out with three personal trainers multiple times a week.
She's been doing boxing, circuit training, weights and reformer Pilates and says she has never felt better.

'I’m by far not at my ideal weight for my height'
Hammond has also found the reaction to her weight loss quite hilarious, as she went on to say: "It makes me laugh when I see comments like ‘Alison is so skinny now’. I’m still overweight! I’m a size 20!
"I’m by far not at my ideal weight for my height. But the main thing is my diabetes is now in the optimum range."
Asked whether she believes slimming down has impacted her career in any way, Hammond said: "Being fat doesn’t make you funny and being thin doesn’t make you less funny. The only thing I’ve noticed since becoming smaller is that I can take on more work. I don’t get as tired. My mental health’s better. I’m more nimble; I feel younger.
"But my career took off when I was a big girl, and my career is still great now that I’m smaller, so I think I’m accepted for who I am."
Her objective was never to get smaller - as the TV legend explained that she 'likes being bigger than everyone'.
"I don’t want to take up less space in the world. I want to fill that space," she added.
