Amanda Seyfried has doubled down on her comments regarding late political commentator Charlie Kirk.
Earlier this year, Kirk was shot and killed while holding a college campus debate at a university in Utah, with the horrifying moment being caught on camera.
The 31-year-old was survived by his wife Erika and their two young children.
Kirk's death deepened the growing social division across America, with celebrities such as Christina Ricci, Stephen King and Dwayne Johnson's daughter Ava Raine all facing backlash for their comments on Kirk's death.

Broadcaster Jimmy Kimmel even had his show temporarily pulled off air due to his reaction, with the 58-year-old suggesting President Trump was using the assassination to deflect attention away from interest in the Jeffrey Epstein case.
Jennifer's Body star Seyfried also found herself in the hot seat after branding Kirk as 'hateful' – comments which she is refusing to back down on.

Speaking in a new interview with Who What Wear to promote her film The Housemaid, the 40-year-old said she was 'not f**king apologising' over her views.
"I mean, for f**ks sake, I commented on one thing. I said something that was based on actual reality and actual footage and actual quotes," she said.
"What I said was pretty damn factual, and I'm free to have an opinion, of course.
"Thank God for Instagram. I was able to give some clarity, and it was about getting my voice back because I felt like it had been stolen and recontextualized — which is what people do, of course."
What did Amanda Seyfried say about Charlie Kirk?
Commenting on a post which highlighted Kirk's controversial views on topics such as abortion and immigration, Seyfried wrote: "He was hateful."
She then re-shared the following post on her Instagram Story, which read: "You can’t invite violence to the dinner table and be shocked when it starts eating."

Seyfried's comments were met with backlash online, with Turning Point USA spokesperson Andrew Kolvet saying the actor 'deserved whatever backlash she gets'.
"Amanda Seyfried obviously knows nothing about who Charlie Kirk actually was. She’s a victim of her own algorithm and echo chamber," he told Fox News.
"But if your reaction to an innocent husband and father being assassinated in cold blood is to pile on and call him ‘hateful’ instead of offering condolences, or just remaining silent — I know wild concept — then you are the hateful one."
Seyfried later clarified her comments in a follow-up post on the social media platform, saying people were forgetting the 'nuance of humanity'.
"I can get angry about misogyny and racist rhetoric and ALSO very much agree that Charlie Kirk’s murder was absolutely disturbing and deplorable in every way imaginable," she wrote.
