Amy Schumer has shared the positive effects Mounjaro has had for her after she started taking it for weight loss.
The comedian had previously tried Ozempic and said she'd lost about 30 pounds on it, but she'd been left 'bedridden' as she has a gene which leaves her prone to nausea.
"I have this gene, GDF15, which makes you extremely prone to nausea, which is why I was so sick during my pregnancy," Schumer told The Howard Stern Show as she noted that 'other people take it and they're all good'.

Ozempic may be the recognisable name but it's not the one you'd get for weight loss, that'd be Mounjaro or Wegovy, and the comedian was pleased with the results once she switched medications.
Schumer said she was 'loving being on Mounjaro' as she extolled the virtues of the weight loss drug.
"I haven't found it's affected anything, my meals are still very satisfying, and they give me a lot of energy," she told people as she ate from a small bowl and then announced she was 'full'.
Having described the experience as 'great', Schumer is now showing off the weight loss results as she recently posted a picture of herself and her 'lovies' to social media.

She's been getting a lot of positive feedback for the picture as pals have been telling her 'you look incredible' and saying that the new look is a 'slayyyy', which colleagues who are more down with the modern lingo have assured me is good.
The fellow comedian Kathy Griffin joked 'I'm so p**sed about your legs, I can barely talk to you' but she followed it up with a heart-eyes emoji so it seems to be all good between them.
Schumer herself responded to all the messages by telling people she was 'loving the love' and that 'my legs thank you'.
All in all it seems to have been a really positive experience for her which she's taken to after finding a weight loss drug which works for her.
She's not the only one to have shown off a body transformation from Mounjaro, as Meghan Trainor showed up at the premiere to The Paper with a new look.

She'd previously said she was using Mounjaro, a dietician and a personal trainer to help get into better shape and that she was 'o glad I did because I feel great'.
Trainor and husband Daryl Sabara 'do everything together' and she explained they'd walked the weight loss path side by side.
