An Ariana Grande fan who rushed her at the premiere of Wicked: For Good in Singapore has had his bizarre history revealed after he spoke out about being arrested.
The premiere in the Southeast Asian country went viral for all the wrong reasons after a fan was allowed to run past security and put his arm around Grande, before co-star Cynthia Erivo shoved him off her.
Social media has been furious that he was allowed to get so close to her, with many pointing to how particularly traumatising it must be for Grande, considering her experience with the tragic Manchester Arena bombing.
The fan who has gone viral for rushing the Wicked actor was arrested and has today been charged with being a ‘public nuisance’.

Local court documents show that the fan, whose name is Johnson Wen, was charged and will face a potential prison sentence of up to three months and a £1,170 fine if found guilty of the crime.
Wen, a 26-year-old Australian man, posted to Instagram after the incident, saying: “I finally met Ariana Grande tonight!!”

He went on to post saying: “I’m free after being arrested.”
The more fans looked into the incident, though, the weirder it gets, as Wen is a serial celebrity rusher with his embarrassing Instagram feed currently full of videos of him rushing on stage with celebrities.
This includes incidents in which he rushed the stage of Katy Perry, The Chainsmokers, and The Weeknd.
The attention-seeking weirdo has also rushed multiple sporting events, including the 2023 Women’s World Cup Final, the 2024 Olympic Men’s 100 metre final, and the ICC Cricket World Cup Final.
When asked about whether he would stop after rushing The Weeknd, he said in a radio interview: “I've had a few people come up to me and were like: ‘You should stop doing that. What about your fines and your career in the future?’
“I was like: ‘No way!’ I'm literally the best pitch invader/streaker.
“I'll probably keep doing it, but I might take a break.”
When asked about why he did it, he simply said he wanted to meet the singer, adding: “I know it's bad, but I didn’t care about the consequences. I was going to do it either way, even though it was really bad to do it.”
He has been widely slammed, with Grande’s Wicked co-star Marissa Bode saying on TikTok: “'But they're a fan!' Okay. Then they're a fan and a loser. This is what I mean when I say social media brings out the worst in people.
“Oh, did you get your views? Did you get your likes? Guess what you also did? You made somebody feel incredibly unsafe, but just — no remorse. That goes over your head. You're a bad person.”
Security for the event has also been widely criticised as Wen was given two attempts to run at Grande.
After first being dumped over the barricade, the man proceeded to dance in front of security before making another run at the cast, before being apprehended.
