Billie Eilish has hit the headlines again recently after her strong comments at the Grammy awards.
The LA singer, who claimed the best song award with her brother FINNEAS, wasn't too keen to celebrate on stage at this month's event, instead taking the opportunity to share a political message.
While her words about ICE and the struggles of immigrants in the US might have been well meaning, she also suggested that 'nobody is illegal on stolen land', making reference to the colonisation of the United States.
However, she's faced a lot of backlash in the week since, especially since her own living situation came to light, as it emerged that she is living in a $3 million mansion which was built on land belonging to a local tribe.

She certainly didn't imagine that she would end up being the 'Bad Guy' in that situation but then again, she's used to facing criticism online, as we saw back in 2020 when she managed to lose herself 100,000 followers from just one photo.

Although, Chris Hemsworth regretted taking a selfie with her, it was actually one of her own drawings that seemed to p**s off the general population, as she humorously shared an image of some naked drawings and some snakes on her Instagram stories, after replying to a question about the drawing she was most proud of.
“These probably lol I love boobs," Eilish wrote in the caption.

Now, the cynic in me would probably suggest that the vast majority of these unfollowers were desperate men who for some reason harboured hope of Eilish ever paying attention to them, and the thought that she might prefer women was clearly too much for them.
The star even spotted the mass exodus herself, as she later addressed the controversy in an Instagram Story, writing: “LMFAOOO y’all babies smh."
Eilish also confirmed three years later in an interview that she was queer, speaking in her truly iconic style.

She said: "That song [Lunch] was actually part of what helped me become who I am, to be real. I wrote some of it before even doing anything with a girl, and then wrote the rest after.
"I was never planning on talking about my sexuality ever, in a million years. It’s really frustrating to me that it came up.
"I’ve been in love with girls for my whole life, but I just didn’t understand until, last year, I realised I wanted my face in a vagina."
Considering the singer-songwriter has a whole host of music awards to her name, as well as millions in her bank account, I doubt she will care all that much about losing a few followers.
She's still got 451,263 times as many as me, after all.
