Jameela Jamil’s name has just been dragged up in newly released court documents surrounding the ongoing legal battle between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni.

Yesterday (21 January), we saw messages from Taylor Swift calling him a ‘b**ch’ while the Gossip Girl actor appealed to Ben Affleck to watch her edit of It Ends With Us.

It’s due to the allegations made about what happened on the set of that film that Baldoni and Lively have been entangled in lawsuits. While he denies the accusations made against him, Lively claimed that the director and his production company launched a smear campaign against her and accused him of sexual harassment.

But from text messages, it appears Jamil accused Lively of being a ‘bizarre villain’.

Her comments feature in the unsealed court documents as she featured in an exchange between her and Baldoni’s publicist, Jennifer Abel, back in August 2024.

This was around the time when the actor first began facing public accusations of his ‘difficult’ behaviour on the set.

The exchange sees the pair reacting to a TikTok video of Lively as Jamil sent a voice note before Abel said: “I want to incorporate nightmare c**t and demon c**t into my vocabulary,” before adding: “She’s doing this to herself.”

And the star then responded: “She’s a suicide bomber at this point.”

Hours later, Jamil mentioned that Lively had shared a ‘survivors link’ for domestic violence (a topic of the movie) as well as relating US statistics, to which the actor reacted: “Dead.”

Abel referred to this as ‘so sick’, with the actor calling it ‘so cold’ as the publicist said she was ‘thinking about having Justin share it’.

“Ahahaha no keep him away from her,” Jamil responded. “Keep him silent. Keep him in Sweden.”

And as the publicist said she hates ‘her so much’, the actor continued: “I’ve never seen such a bizarre villain act before.

“She’s OVER now.”

In other documents, Lively told Affleck that she’d had ‘the most upsetting experience’ she’s ever had on a film as she referred to Baldoni as a ‘chaotic clown’.

“This movie nearly killed me,” she added. “The making of doc of this film would be more interesting than the movie could ever be. It's like if Wild Wild country, Fyre Festival and Going Clear had a baby with The Room.”

LADbible has contacted representatives for Jamil, Lively, Baldoni, and Abel for comment.
