Many will have forgotten this, in large part due to the fact that Chloë Grace Moretz has since come out as a ‘gay woman’, but the Kick Ass actor previously dated Brooklyn Beckham.
Beckham’s past relationships have come under scrutiny after his explosive statement on Instagram in which he took aim at David and Victoria Beckham for their ‘controlling behaviour’ throughout their life.
The feud between Brooklyn and his wider family had been fairly public news as far back as shortly after his wedding to Nicola back in 2022.
Whilst there have been posts here and there from Brooklyn’s brother Cruz on Instagram about the feud Brooklyn’s shocking post is the biggest insight into the feud between him and his parents the public have gotten so far.

In this, he accused his parents of ‘inviting women from his past’ into his life to try and sabotage his relationship with Nicola as well as generally presenting them as being controlling of him and his life.
Prior to his marriage to Nicola Peltz, his most high profile relationship was with Chloë Grace Moretz, best known for Kick Ass, Carrie, and Let Me In, between 2014 and 2018.
The pair started dating when she was 17 and he was 15, with Chloë having spoken publicly about her relationship with his parents and wider family in this time.
In light of Victoria’s now-public feud with Nicola, it might come as a surprise then that the actor had only positive things to say about Posh Spice, but she did express some reservations about what it’s like to date a Beckham.

Speaking to Andy Cohen about Victoria in 2014, Chloë said: “She's an amazing person. I really admire her work ethic and I love her line.
"I think that as a family, they're awesome people.
“[The Beckhams] understand the travel, the sex scenes with random people, the crazy schedules.”
She went on to tell him in a later appearance that David was ‘a great dad, [Victoria’s] a great mother. They genuinely are very good parents. That’s what matters most'.

Brooklyn's statement about his family has led to people online digging into all of his various social media interactions with his family over the years, with some fans pointing to an Instagram post in which Victoria poked fun at Brooklyn's hair, comparing him to Dennis the Menace and asking Chloë 'what she'd done' to him.
Whilst she didn’t name his parents specifically, Chloë would go on to say in 2016 that dating him could be difficult at times.
She told British InStyle about their relationship: “It creates a mass frenzy and they follow you in separate cars so you can’t just run around and share little silly and cute moments.”
The pair broke up in 2018, leading to what she described as a ‘hard year’, with Chloë later coming out as a ‘gay woman’ in 2024 and announcing her marriage to Kate Harrison in 2025.

The actor revealed this in a post about the 2024 election in which she stated that ‘as a gay woman’ she was going to be voting for Kamala Harris and that she believed in the ‘need for legal protections that protect the LGBTQ+ community’.
