Bunnie XO’s former husband says she ‘destroyed his life’ before Jelly Roll marriage

After near enough a decade of marriage, it was recently confirmed that Jelly Roll and Bunnie Xo are getting a divorce.

The country singer, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, addressed this publicly for the first time on stage last week.

He claimed there are ‘liars’ online as rumours spiral about reasons for their split as he said Bunnie XO is his ‘best friend’.

“Me and my wife are best friends, we will always be best friends. I will love her. She will probably be the only woman I'll ever love the way I loved her,” he said.

"Nobody cheated on nobody.”

But he’s not the only former partner speaking about splitting from the podcaster as her ex-husband Francisco ‘Frankie’ Lombardo says their separation ‘f**king destroyed’ his life.

Bunnie Xo and Frankie got married in Hawaii back in February 2010, having met on MySpace while they were in different relationships.

No cheating apparently happened and he says their marriage was ‘very adventurous’.

“It was good. I really loved her and I think that we were definitely extremely close,” he told the Daily Mail.

“We're f***ing best friends... She was a good wife.”

However, Frankie found himself ‘super jealous’ of her ‘sugar daddies’ which caused arguments.

And the nail in the coffin came when his parents and siblings moved into their home, having run into trouble with the likes of fraud and money laundering.

“[It] totally destroyed our relationship, and I think ultimately that had a very big influence on the way things were handled,” he said.

The pair filed a joint petition for divorce in February 2014. Frankie had ‘wanted kids’ with Bunnie Xo with fertility struggles causing issues.

Lombardo said that she is the ‘only girl that broke my heart’.

“She left me for another man and... [it] f***ing destroyed my life in a sense. And she got with some dude [prior to Jelly Roll] who beat her up, which was a f***ing nightmare," he added.

Bunnie Xo has spoken about being in an abusive relationship, whom she refers to as ‘Karma’ in her book Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic.

She met Jelly Roll in 2015 and they wed at a Las Vegas chapel the following year. She said during a recent Dumb Blonde podcast episode that the pair are still planning to welcome a child together via IVF.

“My husband and I are ending this marriage on the best possible terms that you could ever have a divorce,” she told listeners. “We’re literally settling our divorce in, like, what? We’ve done it in three weeks? Two weeks?”
