An inquest has revealed a provisional cause of death for Holly Hagan's teenage sister.
Darci Rose Gibson passed away at the age of 19 following a night out in Manchester back in October. The news was confirmed by former Geordie Shore star Holly on social media. The 33-year-old wrote that her sister 'passed away peacefully... surrounded by family and her best friends'.
Holly later revealed that her sister had taken an 'accidental overdose' of crystal MDMA on a night out at the Warehouse Project nightclub.

The teenager suffered a second cardiac arrest, with her body overheating to the point where her brain swelled.

Further details about Darci's death have now been revealed, with an inquest hearing revealing a provisional cause of death for the teenager.
Results from the toxicology tests revealed that 'high levels' of the drug MDMA were present in Darci's body, with her provisional cause of death being ruled as 'multi-organ failure' from an overdose (per Manchester Evening News). The coroner also confirmed there were no 'evidence of third party involvement' or suspicious circumstances in regards to her death.
A full inquest will take place at a later date.
According to advice from Talk To Frank, overheating and dehydration are the most dangerous side effects of using MDMA (also known as ecstasy or 'Molly').
"Ecstasy affects the body's temperature control," the site explains, adding that extra caution needs to be taken when using the drug on a night out.
"Dancing for long periods in a hot atmosphere, like a club, increases the chances of overheating and dehydration."
Meanwhile, Holly recently opened up about her devastating loss of her sister in an interview of Married at First Sight expert Paul Brunson’s podcast We Need To Talk.
