Holly Hagan has revealed that donating her late sister's heart has resulted in a life being saved, though she called it a 'selfish' decision.
Earlier this year, the Geordie Shore star, 33, shared the sad news that her younger sister Darci had died aged 19 after being rushed to hospital in October.
In a statement to LADbible, Greater Manchester Police explained: "On Sunday 19 October 2025, we were called by hospital staff to the concern for welfare of a 19-year-old woman who had fallen seriously ill after it is believed she had taken drugs.
"Sadly, the woman died in hospital Monday evening. Our thoughts remain with her family at this difficult time. Enquiries are ongoing."

Hagan told The Daily Mail that her younger sister had gone to the Warehouse Project nightclub in Manchester and mixed crystal MDMA into her drink before feeling unwell and vomiting, then going into cardiac arrest.

Medical staff were able to revive her and get her into an ambulance headed for Manchester Royal Infirmary as she went into cardiac arrest again.
After arriving at the hospital, Holly was told that her sister was '100 per cent brain-dead', and she said that her sister 'died at 16:23'.
Speaking about it on the We Need To Talk podcast afterwards, Holly said that Darci's heart was the only organ they could donate and that they decided to donate it to help.
She said: "I'll be really honest. It was a selfish decision. We wanted her life to mean something. We wanted to be able to say that she'd saved a life, like that was for us.
"That was to give us peace. A lot of people like, 'oh, you’re so selfless and brave'. We weren’t, we wanted her to have achieved this. And for us to feel better because of it."

Holly said that three weeks later the family received a letter saying that the heart donation 'saved the life of a woman' which she said was 'just such an honour to have been able to be a part of that'.
She said that 'as awful as the situation was' she was proud of her sister being able to achieve a lot in her 19 years and that the woman who got Darci's heart might have had 'the happiest day of her life'.
"It was the worst day of ours. But something good came of it, and someone's children didn't have to lose their parent because of Darci," Holly said of her sister's donation.
