Snoop Dogg has found a new ‘natural high’ two days after quitting weed

The US rapper 'quit smoke' in a shocking statement last week

Legendary rap star Snoop Dogg set his fans' tongues wagging earlier this week, after announcing he'd given up weed for good.

The globally-renowned 4/20 celebrator - who was once accused of 'smoking between 75 and 150 joints each day' - left his X followers blown away with his somewhat unbelievable admission.

Taking to the app - formerly known as Twitter - he wrote: "After much consideration & conversation with my family, I’ve decided to give up smoke.

"Please respect my privacy at this time."

While many social media users believed Snoop's announcement on social media was a joke - with one commenting on the post, "I know you're high posting this" - others do believe he’s truly giving it up.

"Health above anything else. Snoops setting a great example to everyone. Respect," one fan responded to the viral tweet.

Today, however, Snoop has opened up on a new 'high' he's been experiencing, though he claims it's all 'natural'.

Snoop hasn't yet revealed what his new 'natural high' is.

A man of seemingly few words, the iconic musician shared a sleepy-eyed black and white selfie on Instagram.

With his eyes closed, hand placed pensively on his chin, and beanie atop his head, he wrote the words, "Natural high" in the caption, along with an alarm clock emoji, and some musical notes.

It's unclear what exactly Snoop is referring to with his cryptic post - perhaps very early starts considering it was 2am in LA when he posted - but it's naturally led to many of his followers again disbelieving that he'd given up weed permanently.

"Nah he said 'respect my privacy' but he be posting stuff like this [laughing emoji]", one follower penned.

Another teased: "Uncle Snoop in his feelings lately".

"I DON'T TRUST THIS GUY" a third added, whilst a fourth joked: "This is what day 2 of not smoking weed looks like".

Another fan sought to give him some advice: "Snoop, congratulations on quitting smoking, but you don't need to post pictures looking sad, go out, exercise, run, find a hobby and it will help."

Only a matter of hours before making his weed renouncement post, it was confirmed the rapper and US businesswoman Martha Stewart were launching a new smoking product together.

You literally couldn't make this up...

The pair announced ‘Best Buds Bags’ earlier this week, which are literally little crossbody bags with a lighter.

Reported by The Source, Snoop said: “This bag’s got it all. From my favourite lighter, favourite colour, and dime-sized secret stash pockets to stash my favourite herbs.”

Martha also added: “You never know when you’re going to need a lighter! The Best Buds Bag combines convenience and style into one.”
