More details about Daveigh Chase's final days are emerging online after it was confirmed that the actor had died at the age of 35.
It was first reported yesterday (17 June) that the former child star, whose most memorable performances came in Lilo & Stitch and The Ring, had died following a battle with meningitis.
Tragically, an infection spread to her blood and shortly after developing sepsis, the American's body shut down completely, with her manager John Ryan Jr paying tribute to her after sharing the news of her death.
"She was the greatest. She loved cats. She worked with cat rescues with us. She was very to herself, " said Ryan, her friend and manager of 15 years.

"She was not very Hollywood. She'd rather eat at Bob's Big Boy and go home with the cats. She loved acting but wasn't into the fame scene", he said.
It first became apparent that the actor was suffering when her alleged boyfriend Roy Hernandez set up a GoFundMe to try and provide 'comfort' for her during a period of serious illness, although it's unclear what those funds would have gone towards.

“Daveigh Chase, my girlfriend, has always been a light in my life,” Hernandez wrote on the fundraising page.
"When we met, I promised to protect her and give her the love and comfort she deserved. Together, we found moments of happiness and hope."
He went on to reveal her recent health issues, writing: "Daveigh was diagnosed with meningitis and several serious blood infections. Her condition has become critical, and the doctors have told me she may not have much time left.
"All she ever wanted was a place where we could live together, feel safe, and be happy. Now, more than ever, I want to give her that sense of home and peace in her final days."
A new Instagram video has now shown off the severe state that Chase had found herself in, as it captures her looking extremely ill and unable to move while inside a tent, where she was allegedly living in Skid Row, which is home to thousands of homeless people in Los Angeles.
After the footage was obtained by The California Post, Chase's manager reportedly told the publication that her friends and family had been desperately trying to save her life, with a private investigator even hired to try and track her down.

He admitted that while he was able to get on the phone with her after spotting the viral video, she had 'disappeared' by the time he was able to arrive on Skid Row.
“We were so close to finding her,” he told The Post, “Daveigh was the sweetest and brightest light in Hollywood. I can’t believe this is real. Her legacy and work will live on forever.”
A documentary series detailing the search for her, named 'Finding Lilo', was also supposedly in production.
The manager also called out the GoFundMe set up by Hernandez, which has since raised over $1500, suggesting that it was 'improper' since her family and friends weren't aware of his existence.
He said: “Apparently, a man claiming to be her ‘boyfriend’ that none of us friends or her family has heard of has set up a GoFundMe on ‘her and her families behalf’ that he set her up as the organiser. I can confirm Daveigh has a trust account set up at SAG to cover all costs."
LADbible has approached LAPD, Roy Hernandez and the medical examiner in LA for comment.
