David Beckham has made a cryptic statement about his children's use of social media in wake of his son's explosive online statement.
The former footballer appeared to make a veiled reference to the dramatic development in the feud which has divided his famous family today (20 January).
He had previously dodged questions from reporters while attending the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, according to Sky News.

But the father-of-four then made an ambiguous comment about his kids use of the internet during an appearance on CNBC’s financial program Squawk Box.
It comes less than 24 hours after Brooklyn publicly berated the Beckham brood.
Take a look at this:
David and Victoria's firstborn took to Instagram on Monday to post a series of stories which made up his long-awaited statement about the bitter saga.
The 26-year-old claimed that his parents have 'tried endlessly to ruin his relationship' with his wife Nicola Peltz and accused them of spoiling their 2022 wedding, among other bombshell allegations.

Brooklyn said that he has 'been silent for years and made every effort to keep these matters private', but now has 'now choice but to tell the truth'.
He also accused David and Victoria of continuously fraternising with the press to print 'lies' about him and Nicola. Most shockingly, Brooklyn boldly declared that he has no desire to 'reconcile' with his family.
"For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family," part of his statement read.

"The performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships have been a fixture of the life I was born into.

"Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they'll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out."
The internet has been a central part of the spat between Brooklyn and his parents - as he is alleged to have blocked his relatives on social media after becoming sick of them posting and mentioning him online.
While appearing on Squawk Box today, David discussed the 'power of social media' and 'the good and the bad' that comes with it.
He said: "I have always spoken about social media and the power of social media...for the good and for the bad. What kids can access these days, it can be dangerous.

“But what I have found personally, especially with my kids as well, use it for the right reasons.
“I’ve been able to use my platform for my following, for UNICEF. And it has been the biggest tool to make people aware of what’s going on around the world for children.
“And I have tried to do the same with my children, to educate them.
“They make mistakes, but children are allowed to make mistakes. That is how they learn. That is what I try to teach my kids.
"You sometimes have to let them make those mistakes as well."

Last week, it emerged that Brooklyn's wife Nicola had been spotted liking TikTok comments which appeared to refer to her husband's rift with his parents.
