Danny Dyer’s explosive summary of David Cameron resurfaces now he’s back in parliament

How could we forget Dyer calling Cameron a t**t?

Cast your minds back to 2016, David Cameron’s in government. And oh wait, it’s now 2023, and the bloke’s back again.

He’s not Prime Minister this time though – but I mean who knows what’s going to happen at this rate – as Rishi Sunak has just appointed him as Secretary of state for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs.

This comes after a major reshuffle this morning, with Home Secretary Suella Braverman given the boot.

James Cleverly has taken on her role, moving on from his job as Foreign Secretary.

And filling his space, Cameron made a relatively surprising return to Downing Street today – despite not even being an MP.

Now, there’s a lot of things and words that might come to mind when you think of the old PM, but one celebrity moment is quite the standout.

In 2018, we had an epic rant from Danny Dyer live on TV about the former Tory party leader.

And following the news of him being back in government, the ex-EastEnders star’s words have resurfaced.

David Cameron back at Downing Street today.

Appearing on Good Evening Britain, while his daughter Dani was taking part in Love Island, Dyer aired his political views. His particularly strong political views.

He ranted: "Who knows about Brexit? No one has got a f**king clue what Brexit is. You watch Question Time, it's a comedy."

Now for context, 2018 was of course the year of Love Island's Hayley asking if Brexit was about trees.

When quizzed by Susanna Reid about whether the actor was any the wiser after Jeremy Corbyn explained it, Dyer said: "No I haven't got a clue. No one knows what it is, it's like this mad riddle that no one knows what it is, right.

"So what's happened to that t**t David Cameron? Let's be fair." Piers states: "I think you are referring to our former Prime Minister".

Dyer was not happy with Cameron back in 2018.

But Dyer continues: "How come he can scuttle off, he called all this on. Where is he? He's in Europe, in Nice with his trotters up - where is the geezer? I think he should be held accountable for it."

And users are resharing the video now over on X as they say: “Now that David Cameron has magically reappeared it’s time to enjoy this classic Danny Dyer moment.”

Another puts: “So, David Cameron is back, you say? Cut to Danny Dyer’s incisive summary of the man……”

As others echo: “So David Cameron is back on the scene. Let’s just remember Danny Dyer’s summary of the man.”

I can’t imagine Dyer’s having a happy Monday morning today.
