Demi Moore has opened up about cheating on her first husband the night before they were married.
The Ghost actress, now 62, was just a teenager when she got engaged to musician Freddy Moore.
Demi - who this year picked up her first ever Oscar after over 40 years of acting, making a heartbreaking admission during her speech - has suggested that she went down a different route to the usual bride the night before her first wedding in 1981.
Although we see weddings and marriages break down for a multitude of reasons, whether it be the groom cheating with the bride's cousin or even showing a video exposing the other person's unfaithfulness, Demi's first marriage actually lasted four years until she eventually filed for divorce, with it finalised in 1985.

However, their married life had a rocky start. Demi admits to sneaking out of her room to go and meet with someone she'd met on set on the night before tying the knot.
Writing in her candid 2019 book Inside Out, she explained: “The night before we got married, instead of working on my vows, I was calling a guy I’d met on a movie set.
“I snuck out of my own bachelorette party and went to his apartment.
“Why did I do that? Why didn’t I go and see the man I was committing to spend the rest of my life with to express my doubts?
“Because I felt there was no room to question what I’d already put in motion. I couldn’t get out of the marriage, but I could sabotage it.”
She also specified that she had no qualms about breaking Freddie's previous marriage up in the first place, with the two dating for just a few months before he popped the question.
The G.I Jane actor added: "I was a self-absorbed teenager who hadn’t been raised with a lot of respect for the institution of marriage.”

Demi would go on to marry Bruce Willis and shared three children with the A-list actor before their split in 2000, and she's continued to be close with her ex-husband as he struggles with dementia.
After divorcing the Die Hard star, she even spent eight years married to Ashton Kutcher before their split in 2013.
