Ed Sheeran reveals he once smoked so much weed with Snoop Dogg that he ‘couldn’t see’

Snoop Dogg has a very big reputation for smoking weed.

So, if you ever get invited to partake in such an activity with The Doggfather, then you better be ready for the challenge.

Ed Sheeran was in Australia at the same time as Snoop was performing.

The British singer-songwriter attended the rapper's concert with his wife Cherry Seaborn and mother-in-law.

Once it was all done and dusted, Sheeran was lucky enough to get backstage to say hello to the legendary musician.

He recalled the moment Snoop asked him to smoke on Conan O’Brien’s podcast, Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend.

“I don’t really smoke at all. I was in the dressing room and they’re just [smoking] like blunt for blunt for blunt for blunt," he said.

"I was like, I guess at some point during the night, I have to, just to say I smoked with Snoop Dogg.”

Eventually, the 'Drop It Like It's Hot' rapper offered Sheeran a hit.

“He was like, ‘Do you want some?’ and I was like, now’s the time," the 32-year-old recalled.

"We were having a good conversation. So I have a bit and I was like, I don’t feel too bad, this is good.

"Then I have a bit more, and then I have a bit more, and then I have a bit more.

“I just remember looking at him and being like, I can’t see right now."

That would have been a fairly intense experience and hopefully Ed got out of it okay.

You can imagine that loads of people who get to meet Snoop and are invited to smoke with him end up a little worse for wear.

However, Snoop once revealed there's only one person in the world who he even struggles to keep up with.

But, he’s also one of the most famous pot smokers out there as well.

Snoop found out the hard way that he just couldn't match the legendary musician.

During a 2018 episode of Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show, the Doggfather was asked who he would put on a ‘Mount Rushmore' of pot smokers.

Snoop replied: "I would put Bob Marley. I would put Cheech and Chong - they were the first faces on the mountain, they're the ones who showed us what a mountain was."

Then he added: "Willie P. Nelson is definitely on there.

"And by the way, Willie Nelson is the only person who has ever out-smoked Snoop Dogg. I had to hit the 'time out' button."
