Former talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has been accused of T-boning a Tesla after running a stop sign.
The 67-year-old has reportedly been slapped with a lawsuit which claims she caused the car crash in Santa Barbara County, California, in October 2023.
The woman waging the legal complaint for negligence has alleged that DeGeneres ignored a traffic sign, blew through an intersection and smashed into her side-on.
Court documents obtained by multiple outlets including Page Six state that the unnamed driver had been making her way towards a junction in the road moments before the collision.

The lawsuit notes that the motorist had saw multiple stop signs, so paused and checked for oncoming traffic before proceeding on her journey.
But while driving through the intersection, the woman claims that DeGeneres' car suddenly rammed into her Tesla.
She alleges that the retired comedian failed to take heed of the stop signs, leading to the crash which saw her suffer an unspecified injury.

DeGeneres is being sued for negligence as a result, while the woman is seeking damages. It is currently unclear how much.

LADbible has contacted the star's representatives for comment.
The alleged incident is said to have taken place prior to DeGeneres' move across the pond with wife Portia de Rossi, 52.
The couple upped sticks and headed to the UK last year, while since saying they have settled into a 'simpler' life since making the Cotswolds their new home.
According to DeGeneres, the increasingly contentious political climate in the States and Donald Trump's return to the White House were huge factors in their decision to make the move.
"We got [to the UK] the day before the election and woke up to lots of texts from our friends with crying emojis, and I was like, 'He got in'," she previously explained. "And we're like, 'We're staying here.'"

Speaking of her adoration for the country she now calls home, DeGeneres said: "It's clean. Everything here is just better - the way animals are treated, people are polite. I just love it here."

DeGeneres' time on TV came to an abrupt end in 2022, as the Ellen DeGeneres Show was cancelled after nearly two decades, following allegations that the show harboured a toxic workplace culture.
While on stage performing Ellen’s Last Stand…Up Tour last year, she addressed the controversy and said it was not the way she imagined her career winding up.
"Oh yeah, I got kicked out of show business," she told fans at the Coronet Theatre in West Hollywood, as per Rolling Stone.

"There’s no mean people in show business...I became this one-dimensional character who gave stuff away and danced up steps. Do you know how hard it is to dance up steps?
"Would a mean person dance up steps? Had I ended my show by saying, ‘Go f**k yourself,’ people would’ve been pleasantly surprised."
Discussing how she became something of a pariah in Hollywood, DeGeneres added: "It was so hurtful. I couldn’t gain perspective. I couldn’t do anything to make myself understand that it wasn’t personal.
"I just thought, ‘Well this is not the way I wanted to end my career, but this is the way it’s ending'. I just hated the way the show ended. I love that show so much and I just hated that the last time people would see me is that way."
