Emily Ratajkowski once blocked a comedian who went viral for recreating her Instagram photos online.
The model and actor has been in the headlines recently after penning a candid essay for The Cut about how her sex life had 'collapsed' following the difficult birth of her son, Sylvester Apollo Bear, in March 2021 and her subsequent experiences heading back into the dating pool.
Ratajkowski has also faced criticism for how she promoted the article, which included a snap of her 'breastfeeding' a plastic baby doll.
In the snap, the 35-year-old is wearing an open leather jacket, which exposes a large percentage of her breasts, while also holding a glass of wine and a doll, which is made to look as if it's breastfeeding.

The provocative image is one which is ripe for parody, which leads us back to the era of Aussie comedian Celeste Barber mimicking the model's Instagram snaps.

Here's a recap for anyone who doesn't remember the saga.
Why did Celeste Barber parody Emily Ratajkowski's Instagram photos?
In 2022, Barber began recreating 'realistic' versions of the model's viral photos, seemingly as a way to remind viewers that most of us don't look like supermodels and A-list celebrities.
Explaining her reasoning for doing it, Barber told Harper's Bazaar in 2019: "When I saw the ridiculous selfies that people posted, I thought, 'What would it look like if a normal person did the same thing on a Wednesday?
"Also, I wanted to show other body types."
Here is an example of such parodying:

However, Ratajkowski wasn't too pleased with the project, with Barber revealing that she was blocked by the actor in 2022.
"I don’t think Emily is a fan. That’s OK, she’s allowed to not love it. But she blocked me," Barber told Nova's Fitzy & Wippa radio show.
Ratajkowski later clarified the situation on an episode of her podcast, stating that everything had been 'blown out of proportion'.
"This whole drama with Celeste has been blown out of proportion. In general, I find her to be really funny. But, [the] message I was trying to send to her was, 'I just don’t want you to do this to me anymore'," she explained.
"[I want] to be able to do my thing, whether that be writing about my terrifying experiences in an industry that doesn’t protect women and young girls and femme-presenting people while also having a bathing suit line.
"I was like, I’m not giving her my consent for this joke anymore. It just landed at a specific time for me."

She continued: "We really love to pick on female influencers like they are considered the trash, lamest, most cringe, most embarrassing people on the planet.
"I fundamentally find that to be sexist. Yeah, no s**t women want to be influencers - it’s one of the ways that women have learned to be successful and make money. They’re hustling."
Has Celeste Barber responded to her comments?
Barber addressed the comments during an episode of Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast in 2024, revealing that she is still blocked by Ratajkowski at the time of the interview.
"I was posting and then I found out that she had blocked me and she didn't like it. So I was like, 'Oh, that's boring. Oh, now I can't do it. Oh, come on, please have a sense of humour," she said (via PEOPLE).
"Please have a sense of humour. Oh, you don't? OK, I'll stop."
Barber still creates parodies on her Instagram account, mimicking the likes of Kim Kardashian, Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber and various content creators showing off their sculpted bodies.
