Tony Hawk has described claims that he got married on Jeffrey Epstein's notorious island as 'nonsense' after his name appeared in the latest document dump.

The skateboarding legend, 57, is among a host of celebrities who's monikers have been featured in the millions of files that have been released by the US Department of Justice.

Several images of playboy poker player Dan Bilzerian were included in the new release which went public last Friday (30 January), while the names of rappers Jay-Z and Pusha T were also cited.

Being mentioned in the Epstein files is not a suggestion of any wrongdoing, however, a lot of the stars whose names have been dragged into the scandal have publicly responded in a bid to squash any speculation.

Microsoft mogul Bill Gates has spoken out after damning claims were made against him, as did Elon Musk after an email exchange between him and disgraced financier Epstein emerged.

Now, Hawk has shared a scathing message in response to rumours that he rubbed shoulders with the convicted sex offender.

In the latest document dump, his name cropped up in an email which was dated 22 October, 2024, which discusses the alleged human trafficking of a minor.

A special agent - whose name is redacted - who was working as a Threat Intake Examiner at the FBI National Threat Operations Center (NTOC) Unit shared the details of a conversation he had with the alleged victim.

It explains that she had reported the claims to the FBI's tip line that morning and alleged that she had been trafficked to have sex with 'politicians and notable men' since her childhood.

According to the document, she claimed to have 'photos that can prove that she was on' Epstein's island too.

The email reads: "It started when she was five years old when she was taken from an apartment she was living in and cut in the throat. At seven years old she was moved to Fresno, CA and was taken again when she was 12-13 years old.

"During that time reported she was a virgin when she was taken and was brought to Paris to do it in the most 'romantic' place in the world and was raped by three men.

"The men were a part of an organisation that would take naked photos of young girls and used photo where she flew to Ireland for politicians and notable men.

"They would have sex with the younianen and she was taken from Ireland and brought to Jeffery Epstein Island when she was 13 years old."

It then states that the alleged victim claimed that she was on Little Saint James 'when Prince Edward was there and when Tony Hawk got married on the island'.

Hawk, a father-of-four, took to his Instagram Story on Thursday (5 February) to share a scathing retort to the claims that he got hitched at Epstein's lair in the United States Virgin Islands.

The Birdhouse Skateboards owner - who has been married four times - shared 'the facts and timelines' of his past nuptials, while adding: "I apologise if they don't fit a narrative of nonsense."

Hawk wrote: "1990: Married in Fallbrook, CA (at home). 1996: Married in San Diego, CA (at Hilton Hotel). 2006: Married in Fiji (on Tavarua Surf Island). 2015: Married in Ireland (at Adare Manor)."

He reckoned that his 2006 wedding to actress Lhotse Merriam was the one referenced in the files and went on to explain that images from the ceremony ended up being licensed.

The skateboarding star said: "One of the guests in 2006 shot photos of the Fiji ceremony and licensed them to Getty Images. His name is (coincidentally) Mark Epstein."

He insisted that Mark Epstein has 'no relation' to the sex offender, instead describing him as an 'accomplished action sports photographer from Wyoming'.

Hawk added that he had 'never met' Epstein himself and 'never visited' Little Saint James, saying: "This is all easily verifiable information. Facts are not fungible."

He signed off the statement by apologising to the photographer for their connection resulting in him being 'pulled into the misinformation vortex'.

The skateboarder's name also appeared twice elsewhere in the Epstein files dump, in email discussions about the 2010 video game 'Tony Hawk: Shred'.
