Gordon Ramsay revealed the 'worst meal he's ever eaten' and his reaction was caught on camera

Gordon Ramsay has no doubt had to eat some pretty disgusting meals in his time but the celebrity chef has revealed the worst of all.

He named the meal when speaking on the Late Late Show with James Corden, where Ramsay opened up about the meal he had to physically spit out when finding out what the special ingredient was.

While critics and journalists might usually enquire about the best things the restaurateur has eaten, Corden was more keen for the 58-year-old to name the very worst, which might lead to him calling a fellow chef an 'idiot sandwich' for example.

Ramsay has often advised members of the public to be wary of 'red flags' when it comes to ordering from a restaurant, but the ingredient one contestant on MasterChef USA included in her meal must be near the top of the list for 'do not includes'.

The meal comes from an unnamed woman who appeared in an audition for the iconic cooking show, which is supposed to attract the best chefs from across the country.

Now, those in the business know that fresh, locally sourced ingredients are the best to cook with, but this lady took things to the next level. She prepared some mac and cheese, which you would think would be a safe and reliable option to win over the judges, given that its essentially the national dish over in the US.

But instead of using cow's milk for the cheese, she used her own breast milk. A risky move, given the chef's well-documented distaste for anything raw.

Ramsay revealed: "Worst thing I've ever eaten? Mac and cheese at last year's audition show for 'MasterChef.' And it was sweet, and I thought this lady had made it with almond milk. I said, 'You know, the cheese on top's nice, but it's very sweet. You know, how do you make this thing?' She said, 'It's my breast milk.' Not good."

Given that the chef also chowed down on some bull's penis with hot sauce, and some chicken feet and salmon ice cream during his appearance on the show, he might well have changed his mind.

But given that mac and cheese is an American staple, it must have been truly awful for Ramsay to name it as his worst, and his pretty graphic reaction seems to prove that.
