Heidi Klum explained why one of her legs was more expensive to insure than the other

Heidi Klum explained why one of her legs was more expensive to insure than the other

The supermodel revealed a bizarre appraisal of her limbs found one was worth more than the other.

Heidi Klum may look like a million bucks - but her legs alone are worth double that.

The German-American supermodel has a hefty price tag on the pins which helped catapult her to stardom.

We've all been wowed by her work on the catwalk - but one client went the extra mile to secure the safety of her struts.

The 50-year-old previously revealed that her legs were insured for no less than $2 million (£1.47 million).

But even more surprisingly, the bizarre appraisal of her limbs deemed that one was more valuable than the other.

During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Klum explained it was a childhood injury which impacted the cost.

The ex-Victoria's Secret angel said last year: "When I was young, I fell into a glass and I have, like, a big scar.

"Obviously I put so much spray tan on right now you can't see it right now but yeah, one was more expensive than the other one.

"It's weird the things that some people do."

Back in 2017, Klum let slip to People that one of her legs was insured for $1 million (£730,000), while the other was insured for $1.2 million (£880,000).

Expanding on her enduring appreciation of her legs, the model said: "I always enjoyed, and I still do, wearing super short miniskirts showing off my legs.

"I think legs are sexy. I do like to put a focus on my legs when I go out or when I get onto the red carpet. I do."

Klum kept them covered up for Halloween this year though as she dressed up as a peacock.

The costume queen donned a skin-tight blue velvet bodysuit, a mask with a yellow beak on it and a feathered headdress.

Her outfit was a multi-player effort as well - as she relied on 10 other people to pull it off.

Klum stood on top of one of them while the others swarmed her in sparkly outfits to represent the peacock's plumage.

Although it was an incredible effort, fans have been left unimpressed this year - saying her costume was a bit 'boring'.

To be fair, it's certainly toned down from last year's crazy worm outfit. But she set the bar ridiculously high with that.
