Jake Paul has been slammed by critics following his appearance at a Trump administration rally. Many have alleged he ‘didn’t get the memo’, causing him to suffer a major ‘wardrobe malfunction’.

On Wednesday (11 March), the 29-year-old was invited on stage by US President Donald Trump to speak to Republicans at the Verst Logistics facility in Boone County, Kentucky.

As well as being hailed as a ‘courageous guy’ and ‘a hell of a fighter’ by the 79-year-old, it was hinted that perhaps the former Disney Channel actor could pursue politics in the future.

“I just want to say I predict, I'm going to make a prediction, that you will be in the not too distant future, running for political office, OK. And you have my complete and total endorsement, OK?”, Trump claimed.

Once on the podium, Paul remarked that the Kentucky crowd had a ‘lot of swag’ and that the ‘future of America’ was probably listening in to him speak.

“I grew up just a few hours away from here, my dad taught me to fight and all of our voices matter in America and I’m never afraid to speak the truth and I know you guys aren’t,” he continued.

“We are here representing the United States and it’s just a blessing, thank you, Mr Trump.”

Naturally, the social media influencer’s appearance at the rally has gone viral… But probably not for the reason you think.

Instead, people have a lot to say about the attire he chose to wear for the talk.

The sportsman selected a tan suit, a white shirt, and a grey tie. It was a contrasting look to the navy suit, white shirt, and purple tie combination Trump chose.

It seems the internet is obsessed with Paul’s outfit, with many commenting on how much moisture had seemingly gathered under his arms.

Videos and images from the event show sweat visibly seeping through his white shirt and through the underarms of his light-coloured suit jacket.

“How is it even possible to sweat through a suit like that lmaoo,” one X user questioned.

A second reported: “He didn’t get the memo about tan suits.”

Another attached a picture of former President Barack Obama wearing a similar tan suit and typed: “My president never sweats in a tan suit. Obama is the best to ever do it.”

Others have been quick to defend Paul’s visible sweat marks, with a fan writing: “Paul came from a pretty average upbringing and is now worth 9 figures and you’re a middle age man grifting on an app for money talking about his pit stains.”

“That’s how the suit is made that’s the color bro,” alleged someone else.

Paul is actually the founder and co-owner of a deodorant brand, W, which launched in 2024.

Marketed towards active lifestyles and designed without parabens, phthalates, or artificial dyes, the YouTuber said he launched the men’s personal care brand after ‘realising there wasn’t a good modern-day solution made without unhealthy stuff’.

“I wanted something without parabens, artificial dyes, hormone disrupters, harsh sulfates, and less silicone... but also something that really worked. There weren't any options, so I decided to create the solution myself,” he wrote via X.
