Jake Paul's broken jaw technically means he is unable to box professionally.
The YouTuber-turned-boxer, 28, was well beaten by Anthony Joshua following last month's fight.
Joshua, 36, broke his jaw in two different places in the sixth round, marking Paul's second loss of his career.
While the former world champion's future remains unclear after losing two of his close friends during a car crash in Nigeria, Paul was taken to hospital after the fight for emergency surgery on his jaw.

“Everything went smooth,” he told his followers post-surgery.
Alongside a picture of him sitting up in a hospital bed, Paul wrote: “Thanks for all the love. Lots of pain and stiffness. Gotta eat liquids for seven days.
“S/o to the amazing team at Miami University hospital. Everyone was so gracious and caring.”

The content creator said he has 'some teeth removed' and now has to deal with 'two titanium plates on each side'.
According to the Florida Athletic Commission, Paul's broken jaw means he can't box again until he is medically cleared by a health professional, reports MMA Fighting.
It comes after Paul's number 14 WBA cruiserweight ranking was removed in the New Year which rules him out of any immediate world title opportunities.

“I got four plates in my jaw but that’s part of the sport. The healing process has been a little bit tough,” he admitted to DAZN.
“I’m a little bit tired, it’s hard to sleep, I go onto the pillow and then my jaw twerks up to the left and I wake up so.
“It’s all part of the sport and it was an amazing night and I learned a lot, gained a lot of experience and we’re moving onto more fights this year.”

On his brother Logan's Impaulsive podcast, Paul insisted he was 'winning' the fight until he got 'dropped'.
“But I was doing good, my cardio, just the mental pressure of the big guy, and sparring the big people is different than the 10oz gloves so I was feeling his power a lot more,” he said.
“It was a great experience, I learnt a lot in there. I wish I had more than like three weeks to put on more muscle so I could really hit him.
“My biggest mistake was not doing altitude training. I see where I could have done better so I'm a little disappointed but I also know how good he is.
“I had him wobbled at one point, but he had his hands up better this fight.”
