Jennifer Lawrence couldn't resist asking Robert Pattinson about his relationship with ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart while shooting their new film.
The Hunger Games star isn't one to shy away from awkward topics and is quite the open book once she gets talking, so she 'obviously' had to get the gossip from her Die My Love co-star.
Lawrence herself has aired a fair deal of her own dirty laundry in the past - including her biggest fear when it comes to sex, the worst date she has ever been on and how she still occasionally Googles a guy she 'accidentally pantsed' in school.

So it's no wonder she thought that it was fair game to dredge up Stewart and Pattinson's relationship history all these years later.
During a recent appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Lawrence explained that she had picked the actor's brain about the 2012 cheating scandal, which left Twilight fans in bits.
She got the lowdown while they were shooting their new movie, the psychological black comedy-drama Die My Love, which is set to be released in UK cinemas on 14 November.
Lawrence told host Graham Norton: "If you think I didn’t ask [Pattinson] about Donald Trump tweeting about the breakup with Kristen...I mean, obviously!

"It was like three days after the photos came out and Trump was like, ‘He better leave her! He can do better than her!'"
The photos she was referring to are those that emerged 13 years ago of Stewart and Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders smooching, spelling the end of her four-year romance with Pattinson.

As Lawrence mentioned, US President Donald Trump had a lot to say about the situation at the time, and he shared a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) offering the actor advice on how to move on.
In a tweet shared in October 2012, the commander-in-chief wrote: "Robert Pattinson should not take back Kristen Stewart. She cheated on him like a dog & will do it again - just watch.

"He can do much better!"
He followed this up with another, which read: "Everyone is asking me to speak more on Robert & Kristen. I don’t have time except to say ‘Robert, drop her, she cheated on you & will again'!"
As you can see, Lawrence's recollection of this drama was pretty spot on, and both Stewart and Pattinson have spoken about themselves.
The Love Lies Bleeding star somewhat got her own back on the president a few years later when she hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live in February 2017.

She made Trump the butt of her jokes in her opening monologue, saying: "I’m a little nervous to be hosting because I know the president’s probably watching. I don’t think he likes me that much.
"Here’s how I know: four years ago I was dating this guy named Rob. Robert. We broke up and then we got back together, and for some reason it made Donald Trump go insane."

Pattinson also cryptically responded to Trump's comments in 2017, telling Entertainment Weekly that it was 'somewhat surreal' that Trump had gone on to become the POTUS.
When asked what he thought of Trump's rise to power, the Mickey 17 star responded: "I think there’s so many different levels of it. Your identity exists on many different planes at the same time, and they all can be quite different from each other.

"Then he said that [about his breakup with Stewart], it didn’t really mean anything. But I guess now I’m sort of thinking, like, ‘Well, I guess that is related to me'.
"But how does that fit in with all the other things going on in my life? And sometimes you think, ‘Can I use this in my acting? Or should I be putting it away...' It’s kind of interesting, I guess. I don’t know - this could be why people get annoyed with me."
