Kourtney Kardashian explains why she threatened to 'slap' Jennifer Lawrence
Kourtney Kardashian’s reaction to Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘annoying’ comments has been shown in the season eight premiere of The Kardashians.
The reality TV star, 47, admitted that she wanted to ‘slap the **** out of’ The Hunger Games actor, 36, following her admission during a Vanity Fair lie detector test last year.
“Kourtney is more annoying than ever. She drives me nuts,” Jennifer confessed at the time.
“Because everything has to be an announcement. It’s like, you know, ‘I’m not going to wear outfits anymore.’ Like, just wear whatever you want. Don’t make an announcement about it.

“Or like, ‘I don’t have a TV in my room.’ Like, just don’t watch TV. Stop announcing it. Just shhh!”
During the premiere on Thursday, Kourtney said to her friend Simon Huck: “Well, my mom [Kris Jenner] wrote something, like, ‘Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone, I talked to them last night, they’re the best,’ and I go, **** that ***** Jennifer Lawrence'.
“I said to my mom, ‘OK, [Lawrence] thinks she’s one of my sisters? I’ll ******* slap the **** out of her.’ I was like, ‘Invite her over and we can… I’ll go for it like she’s my sister'.”
Kourtney revealed that Jennifer got in touch with her through her sister Kim Kardashian to apologize for the comment.
“I just feel like I’m one of your sisters,” Kourtney said she told her.
Kourtney also admitted that once she rewatched the Vanity Fair clip, she realized it wasn’t actually ‘that bad’.
“But I’m also like, it was a really sensitive week when she sent it, and I felt like our show was airing and everybody was ganging up on me,” she explained.
“She asked Kim for my email, and then she sent me that email, which is so nice. I saw it late last night, so I have not responded. I mean, do I say something funny? Like, ‘You can come over and I’ll beat your ******* ***?’
“I’ll just say, ‘Next time you wanna come over, we can go at it — Kourtney and Kim style,’” referencing the infamous season 18 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
In January, Lawrence opened up about her comments and admitted that she may have taken it a little too far.
“I think that when I do press, I should do half [of] what normal people do,” she said on Amy Poehler’s Good Hang podcast.
“Because I see my quotes and they’re insane. Like, ‘Jennifer Lawrence calls Kourtney Kardashian annoying.’ It’s just too… you know? It carries.”
