Pretty much growing up in the spotlight, you might think Joe Jonas would have the whole ‘don’t kiss and tell’ concept instilled.
And while that might be the case for the 36-year-old nowadays, the same can’t be said of the former Disney Channel star when he was in his 20s.
That’s because the Jonas brother decided to go all in when he decided to kick off an ‘Ask Me Anything’ thread on Reddit way back in 2016. Somehow, this led to him sharing who he lost his virginity to.
Then the celebrity, who fans quickly identified, issued a brutal response to his admission as he shared the account of how he ‘demolished’ his mate’s room during his first time.

To be honest, the musician really didn’t make much of an attempt to conceal her identity either; he might as well have just shared her full government name.

What Joe Jonas said
In the rather candid post, he wrote to fans: “I lost my virginity to this girl named Ashley. You can probably just Google it. It's pretty easy to figure out.
"I didn’t have any condoms. So, I went to our drummer Jack’s room - who was my roommate at the time - and I demolished his room looking for them.
"[I] found them underneath his underwear drawer. When he came home, he thought somebody broke into his room because his whole room was demolished."
Jonas said that he was ‘in dire need’ as he signed off with the wise words: "Safety first, kids."
And just as he suggested, fans were quick to search up his former flame, identifying her as Twilight actor Ashley Greene.

Greene’s brutal response
Jonas dated Greene for just under a year when he was 21 years old before they broke up in 2011.
And it seems like she wasn’t particularly impressed when he decided to bring up this info, as she shared a cryptic quote.
It seemed as though Greene was hitting back when she shared on Instagram: “Class is timeless.”
Why did Joe Jonas share this?
Not long after, the singer decided to give a bit of an explanation as to why he decided to air these details online.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight in October 2016, Jonas became quite philosophical as he said: "I don't know. I think life's too short, you know?
"I mean, ultimately, I think of myself as an honest guy. There are just those moments in life where you have to be true to yourself and true to the world.
"I'm not out to hurt anybody, but I think, ultimately, I'm just telling my stories and what I can say from my heart."
