John Cena has showcased a new look as he prepares to undergo a hair transplant.
The wrestler and actor looked drastically different with his usual dark locks shaved right down.
Cena has previously revealed he had a hair transplant back in November 2024 after fans began pointing out that he was thinning on top.
“As I was trying to hide my hair loss, the audience was bringing it to light," he told People last year.

"I saw their signs that said ‘The bald John Cena’. They pushed me into going to see what my options were. I now have a routine: red-light therapy, minoxidil, vitamins, shampoo, conditioner — and I also got a hair transplant last November. I hate the fact that if there wasn’t so much shame around it, I’d have gotten it done 10 years ago.

"I thought I was alone, but seven or eight out of 10 [men] suffer from thinning or baldness."
Explaining how the procedure worked, Cena said doctors simply ‘move your hair one by one, from one area to another’.
And it seems he was delighted with the outcome, telling the publication: “It completely changed the course of my life.”
Now, he’s gearing up for his second hair transplant and has shared a new photo of himself with his head shaved, shaking hands with Dr Ken Anderson.
Cena explained that he made the decision to shave his head ahead of his treatment ‘for best possible results’.
Captioning the photo on social media, he wrote: “Round 2 of FUE Treatment and this time I went all in for best possible results. Thank you Ken Anderson and the staff at Anderson Center for Hair for accompanying me on this journey!”

Cena has claimed that having a fuller head of hair can land him ‘more work’ as it opens up the range of roles he can play.
Although he’s happily going back for a second hair transplant, Cena previously spoke to TMZ about the grim side effects of the surgery, admitting that his head swelled up and he was left with an ‘alien head’.
He said: “It is a surgery, right? And having been through many surgeries, the first 14 days are the most important. You can’t get it wet, it’s open wounds, your head swells, so your skull looks different. But I didn’t care.”
Cena revealed he went straight back to work after the transplant.
