Legendary adult film star Julia Ann has discussed why she decided to ditch men and only perform alongside women.
Boaster of a three-decade-long career in the pornography industry, she initially made a name for herself as part of the duo 'Blondage', which also featured Janine Lindemulder.
It's a microcosm that's controversial to say the least, with many former players conceding that they regretted being a part of it at all. Others declared that venturing onto OnlyFans was the best way forward.
Julia is one of many who've been speaking out on their time in front of the camera, and explained that as she clocked up more and more hours, she eventually opted to stop shooting scenes with guys altogether and now makes content exclusively with women.

She's not the only one either, as fellow adult star Riley Reid made a similarly bold move.

Who is Julia Ann?
Californian native Julia is considered to be one of the most well-known adult film stars of all time.
She first broke big over 30 years ago as one half of the famous stripping duo 'Blondage', alongside Janine Lindemulder - who readers may recognise from Blink-182's Enema of the State album cover.
Over the course of Julia's career, she's been handed a slew of accolades, including inductions into the AVN, XRCO, NightMoves, and Brazzers Halls of Fame for her contributions to the industry.

Why did Julia Ann stop filming scenes with men?
Speaking on the Holly Randall Unfiltered podcast, Julia opened up about the sad reason she began working exclusively with female performers.
"As a woman who was getting older and one who hates the gym, I was finding that I couldn't control where my fat was going in a scene with guys," she said.
The porn icon admitted the decision came after she got married, though insisted it had nothing to do with her choice.
"This is my reality and no bulls**t. When I have sex with a girl, I can position myself, I can work it a certain way, I can be a little bit more, 'Oh, how you doing today.'"
"But when a guy's behind you, it's just [doink doink doink] and stuff is just happening and I can feel it happening," she continued.
Julia and podcaster Holly, who is also an experienced porn star, both went on to speak about the difficulties they faced with their body image during the episode.
The latter admitted that 'more seasoned guys' will put you in positions 'to open you up on camera', which is fine 'when you're thin and little and petite'.
Julia then replied: "Yeah and after menopause, your body moves separate from itself."
