There's been an update in the state of Justin Timberlake's health after he revealed earlier this year he'd been struggling with Lyme disease.
The singer had been criticised for some of his performances on his world tour, with some calling him out for appearing 'tired' and 'hardly singing'.
However, when he wrapped the tour up on 30 July, he shared a health update to Instagram, revealing he'd been 'battling some health issues and had been diagnosed with Lyme disease'.
Lyme disease is a bacterial infection spread by tick bites, and the most obvious visual symptom is a 'bullseye' shaped rash, though this doesn't always show up.

Other symptoms people might suffer from with Lyme disease include symptoms like having the flu, joint pain, heart and nerve problems, memory loss or trouble concentrating and inflammation.
Now, PEOPLE reports that a source who knows Timberlake's wife, actress Jessica Biel, is saying that the singer is focusing on his recovery.

The outlet had previously reported that Biel had been 'incredibly supportive' of her husband during his health struggle, and that Timberlake had initially put his illness down to the standard feeling of tiredness that comes from being on tour, now he's getting older.
“Justin seems to be doing okay. He's prioritizing his health after the gruelling tour and Lyme disease diagnosis," the source told the magazine. "Jess is supportive. She wants him healthy."
He's 44 and not exactly an old timer, but another source said he at first thought what he was feeling was 'just par for the course with getting older and being back on tour'.
When he revealed his Lyme disease diagnosis, Timberlake said that some of the symptoms had been 'debilitating' in multiple ways.
"Living with this can be relentlessly debilitating, both mentally and physically," he wrote.

"When I first got the diagnosis I was shocked for sure. But, at least I could understand why I would be onstage and in a massive amount of nerve pain or, just feeling crazy fatigue or sickness."
Timberlake said the Lyme disease diagnosis had come as a shock, but it also allowed various pieces of the puzzle around his health to fall into place.

The singer had to choose whether to call time on his world tour early or insist that the show must go on, with him ultimately deciding to push ahead and finish the rest of his dates.
