Pop sensation Cheryl was once a regular face on the newspaper front pages and, along with her hit singles, was on screens every weekend as a judge on the X Factor.
But such was the scale of her fame, the Girls Aloud star was hounded relentlessly by the British press, often leaving her 'unable to breathe', she exclusively told LADbible.
She famously spoke out about the price of her success in a 2009 documentary, revealing that she could no longer 'nip to the garage in my pyjamas anymore for a pint of milk, even if I wanted to.'

But 17 years on, and that comment has become a widely-shared internet meme, posted across social media and mimed in hilarious videos posted on TikTok.
A few of her other one-liners are also getting their deserved time in the spotlight too, including her ferocious rant asking if 'anyone cares about the highest point in Greece' as she trekked up in heels with her bandmates in 2006 show Girls Aloud: Off the Record.
Another hilariously memorable moment is when she demanded a suspected paranormal being 'tapped the f-ing table' during the Girls Aloud appearance alongside Yvette Fielding on TV's Ghosthunting with... Girls Aloud
Now, after stepping out of the limelight for several years, the Fight For This Love singer, 43, has returned for a new campaign with Deliveroo and is paying homage to her iconic milk quote.
Posing in her pyjamas, she has recreated the viral 'pint of milk' meme for an advert to promote Tesco products being available on the delivery app and proving that you really don't have to leave your house in your comfies for your groceries.
The mother-of-one has also launched the Cheryl-Skimmed bundle, featuring silky PJs and a ceramic milk jug signed by Cheryl herself which shoppers can get their hands on.
Speaking exclusively to LADbible, Cheryl talked about the modern social media world and her surprise at learning comments from almost two decades ago are attracting so much online attention all these years later.
“The most baffling thing for me is I still don't get it," she said. "I ask people to explain what's funny or why it’s even become a meme.
“How long ago was that now? I would’ve never, in a million years, have thought I was doing a campaign about it.

“The Deliveroo collaboration came about because I was asked in an interview if I could nip to the garage in my pyjamas, and my reply was 'slowly but surely you start to realise that you can’t anymore', you know, with all the paps.
“So the Deliveroo people loved it, and it goes so well with the fact that Deliveroo now has Tesco on it. So you can get the order of a pint of milk delivered immediately.
“I actually just leaned right into it. I think it's really funny to be able to play with that."
With her other iconic moments also playing out online, Cheryl explained how she still stands by all the things she's said.
"You wouldn't have thought this would have ever happened," she continued.
"And I still stand by all the things I’ve said. I still don’t want to go to the ‘Peak of Greek’ ... and certainly not in high heels.
“And tap the f-ing table…. We were with Yvette Fielding, and Sarah was on a drama that day. Everything was scaring her - like the slightest crackle in the room.
“Yvette kept saying over and over, 'Squire, if you're here, can you tap the table?' for about an hour.

“I’d had such enough of her by the end, and Sarah breathing down my ear, that I just said, If you're here , just tap the f-ing table so we can get on with it.”
Cheryl explained how the resurgence of her TV comments on social media has actually introduced her to younger audiences, adding: “We could never have predicted this then. Never. Because none of it existed.
“I meet a lot of the younger generation now who know me, or they’re like ‘Oh my god I love Fight for this Love’ and I’m thinking… how old are you? It's taken on another life of its own, really.”
The singer, who has achieved five number one singles, is now making her return to TV as a judge in the next season of the Voice UK, alongside Kelly Rowland, Aitch and Will.I.Am.
If she were to order herself on Deliveroo, she said a Chinese takeaway would always be on the menu, and that if she couldn't share it with son Bear, then it would be the cast of the TV talent show.

“I'm going to get a Chinese takeaway,” she said. “And you know what I do, quite often, I think, let me look again through the menu again for what I can choose, and then I always get the same thing anyway.
“Kelly I’d love to sit and just chill with, because I have many questions for that lady, and things I know she knows that I would like to know.
“I've been a Destiny’s Child fan since the first time I laid my eyes on those ladies. I was then, and I have never stopped. I've always loved all of them. So it’s actually a big honour for me to work with Kelly.
“And I'd share one actually with The Voice. I’ve been doing it recently with Will obviously who I worked with, Aitch and Kelly. And I am so intrigued by all of them. A night in with a takeaway with them all would be perfect.”
17 years on from the iconic meme, Cheryl admits she can now go to the shops without being hounded by the press - just not in her pyjamas.
“You don’t have to nip to the shops in your pyjamas anymore," she quipped. "You can just Deliveroo it. It’s genius.
"Even if you’re just running out the door you can ask for it to be left on your doorstep. It’s having the sort of supermarket that people use on an app which is convenient for busy mums, and parents and everyone who lives busy lives.
“I lived through that era with the press, and it was a period where I couldn’t breathe. There were always people outside my door.
“But it’s not like that anymore. I’m very much the school mum now. Very normal."
As part of the new campaign, anyone who orders Tesco on Deliveroo from 28-30th October could receive a Cheryl-Skimmed bundle, containing PJs and a ceramic milk jug signed by Cheryl.
