Of all the mad things that happened last year, Katy Perry dating Justin Trudeau has to be one of the top ‘not on my bingo card’ moments.
After months of rumours and the pair being spotted in public together, they went Instagram official back in December.
That of course came after the first sighting in July and the viral snaps of them kissing on a yacht in October. And it’s fair to say the whole linking of the pop star and former Prime Minister of Canada has just been a bit baffling to many of us.
But they seem to be trolling everyone back with Perry sharing a quip about her ‘age gap’ with Trudeau in a new Instagram post, and hey if they're happy, good for them. Oh, and the ‘Hot N Cold’ singer through in a bit of a dig about what women look for in a man just to top things off.

Keeping things playful, one image in the carousel of photos showed them holding up their phones with the results from Function which highlighted their ‘biological ages’.
“How old would you be if you didn’t know how old you were?” Perry captioned the post.
The ‘Teenage Dream’ singer’s result came in at 33.1 years old, lower than her real age by over eight years.
And as for Trudeau, his came in at 43, roughly 11 years younger than his real age.
So, yes, let me do the maths for you, their ‘age gap’ relationship sees their real ages at 41 for Perry and the politician aged 54.
Also included in the post was a meme of a old-style piece of art of a man saying to a woman: “Biceps or abs?” while she responded: “Emotional intelligence.”
Much of the rest of the carousel documented mother-daughter moments between Perry and her five-year-old daughter Daisy.

Images and videos showed the pair enjoying a ski trip together as well as the little girl getting a pair of custom cowboy boots made.
The ‘The One That Got Away’ singer shares Daisy with ex-fiancé Orlando Bloom.
They confirmed their split in July, as a joint statement said they had been ‘shifting their relationship over the past many months to focus on co-parenting’.
Representatives for the couple added: “They will continue to be seen together as a family, as their shared priority is - and always will be - raising their daughter with love, stability and mutual respect."
Perry and Trudeau appeared to confirm their relationship on Instagram with a selfie of them smiling cheek-to-cheek as a video of them eating sushi together in Japan.
