The former boss of the nightclub at the centre of the scandal surrounding Katy Perry has spoken out about Ruby Rose's bombshell claims.
Orange Is The New Black star Rose, 40, publicly accused the singer of sexually assaulting her around two decades ago at a bar in Melbourne in a string of social media posts on Sunday (12 April).
Perry's camp released a fiery statement in response, insisting the allegations were 'categorically false' while describing them as 'dangerous reckless lies' - and now, an alleged bystander has weighed in on the matter.
The former manager of the now-defunct nightclub, where Rose claims the alleged incident occurred, Spice Market, has revealed what he saw unfold after the stars reportedly turned up together in August 2010.

He recalled how the evening was a 'security nightmare' due to the alleged bedlam their attendance at the venue brought, on top of there being hundreds of revellers to tend to in the club.

"They came in together, they were also with Katy’s hair and make-up girl and another guy who was friends with Ruby," the ex-employee told the Herald Sun.
"It was a security nightmare because there were 600 people there and Katy kept coming out and dancing with everybody and going right in the middle of the mosh pit," he claimed.
In a series of posts shared to the social media site Threads, Rose alleged that she had been 'resting' on her friend's lap in a bid to 'avoid' Perry inside the club.
She claims that despite this, the 'Firework' hitmaker made a beeline for her, 'bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her'.

The Australian actress went on to claim that she has 'photos' and 'witnesses' to back up her version of events - although a representative for Perry vehemently denied the claims.
"The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies," they said in a statement.
"Ms Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named."
According to the former boss at the nightclub in question, the famous faces spent the majority of their night in a VIP area, which was cordoned off from other clubgoers, known as the Genie Bottle.
He recalled seeing the pair 'having drinks and stuff', while noting that they were 'mainly in there doing their own thing'.

"I wasn’t aware of any alleged assault, or someone vomiting," he told the Herald Sun. "They were drunk, they weren’t paralytic or anything and just like any other person drinking at a nightclub."
The ex-manager then claimed that Rose and Perry - who is currently in a relationship with the former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau - both probably had 'too much to drink'.
"To avoid people taking photos of them in a state, we organised a car and driver to be waiting outside the Collins St entrance of the hotel," he alleged.
"We escorted them out the back and up the fire exit and put them in the car together. I think from there they went on to The Peel Hotel."

Rose initially said she is 'not interested in filing a report' with the police in regards to her allegations against Perry, however, it appeared as though she later changed her mind.
In a post shared on Threads on Monday (13 April), the Pitch Perfect 3 actress said she would be 'walking into a police station to see if any of my experiences can be investigated'.
And on Tuesday (14 April), she posted what she said would be her 'last update' on the situation.
"As of this afternoon, I have finalised all of my reports," Rose wrote. "This means I am no longer able to comment, repost, or talk publicly about any of those cases, or the individuals involved.
"It’s going to look like I am ignoring everything from supportive messages, to other people’s experiences, but I’m not. This is a standard request from the police and in many ways, quite the relief.
"I can start the healing process now. And temporary move forward. I love you all so much."
LADbible has contacted representatives for Rose and Perry for comment.
