Keanu Reeves' girlfriend, Alexandra Grant, has addressed a viral picture of the pair that has sparked wedding rumours.
The Matrix star, 61, first worked with the visual artist, 52, on the book Ode to Happiness in 2011, with Reeves writing and Grant illustrating.
Five years later, they collaborated again on Shadows, and in 2017, they co-founded the publishing house X Artists’ Books.
By late 2019, their friendship had developed into a romantic relationship when the pair made their red-carpet debut at the LACMA Art + Film Gala in Los Angeles in November of that year.

“I think every single person I knew called me in the first week of November,” Grant told Vogue in 2020. “And that’s fascinating, but the question I’ve been asking in all of this is, ‘What is the opportunity for good?'”
More recently, a picture of the pair has been circulating around social media, as some fans have speculated if it means wedding bells.
The Ohio artist, however, has cleared things up in a post shared on Wednesday (24 September).
Alongside the image taken by Brian Skope (@skopephotography), she wrote in the caption: "This is a real photo. Not an engagement photo or an AI wedding announcement... simply a kiss!

"(Albeit maybe the moment right before or after it... given the slightly goofy expressions on our faces!)"
She clarified that they were sitting in the Roden Crater as 'Keanu and Gard had just finished interviewing James Turrell for Visionaries'.
"I'm sharing it here to say thank you to everyone for the congratulations on our wedding," Grant joked.

"Except we didn’t get married. Good news is much needed these days, but it's still fake news, so be careful out there!
"So, here's a bit of real happiness!"
In 2023, Grant opened up about her relationship with the Hollywood actor, saying that it came at the right time.
"The good news about falling in love as an adult is that I had built my own career by the time that my relationship had begun," she said to People.

"I feel very confident in the relationship on the red carpet. I feel confident on it alone.
"It's interdependent and independent in the best ways."
One of the things she loves about Reeves is that they push 'each other to build new roads'.
"Seeing the other person's problem-solving is inspiring, like, ‘Oh, well, okay, this one, that's a cul-de-sac. How do I try this other thing?’," Grant added.
That same year, Reeves told the outlet that his last moment of bliss was with his other half.

“A couple of days ago with my honey,” he shared. “We were in bed. We were connected. We were smiling and laughing and giggling. Feeling great. It was just really nice to be together.”
