‘Vulgar’ Rihanna and A$AP Rocky video goes viral leaving people ‘extremely uncomfortable’

People reckon Rihanna and A$AP Rocky ought to have got a room after watching footage of what they got up to in Barbados.

The couple packed on the PDA while partying together in Barbados and the 'Umbrella' singer showed off some of her signature moves - but some folks seem to think it was a bit much.

Others were simply astounded at the mum-of-three's twerking abilities, as she wedged her head between a railing to ensure she put on a stellar performance for her partner.

Rihanna and Rocky - who are parents to RZA, four, Riot, three, and Rocki, 11 months - have been enjoying some time in her hometown of Barbados over the last week or so.

The nine-time Grammy Award winner turned heads on Monday (3 August) as she attended the colourful celebration that is Grand Kadooment Day, which marks the end of the Crop Over 2026 festival.

As per, she looked incredible in a vibrant jewelled ensemble that was crafted by local designer Lauren Austin.

Rihanna was seen boogying alongside her brother, Rorrey Fenty, and his band Aura - but it isn't wasn't her shimmying with her sibling at Grand Kadooment Day that has set tongues wagging.

Footage of Rihanna gyrating on her significant other is what has set social media alight, as the viral video has managed to somehow upset a few strait-laced folks.

She was seen having a whale of a time onboard Aura Experience’s official SOS thank-you cruise earlier this week with Rocky, 37, and she literally bent over backwards to show him a good time.

The songstress shared clips to Instagram showing her twerking on the father of her children and she hilariously slipped her head through a gap in the railing to allow her to shake her backside to her heart's content.

However, some pearl clutchers believe that Rihanna and Rocky should only engage in this seductive sort of dancing in private.

Responding to the footage, one social media user commented: "Why would she do that move in public?"

Another wrote: "They should both go get a room."

A third added: "All this for what exactly?"

And a fourth chimed in saying: "Why is she behaving like bar dancer?"

Rihanna, who is very much entitled to dance however she sees fit, did also have a host of support from fans too - and a lot of people thought seeing her have fun with Rocky was very sweet to watch.

Leaping to her defence, one person wrote: "She’s twerking for her man. I see nothing wrong with that."

A second said: "Having fun with the love of her life."

Another joked: "Rihanna really said structural integrity won’t stop this vibe!"

A fourth observer applauded her efforts, saying: "The commitment. the DEDICATION. She said no barrier will stop me!"

Rihanna, who was donning a stunning ensemble from Celine, comically uploaded some snippets of the evening to social media herself and cracked a joke - which some people reckon might have been a subtle dig at Drake.

The Fenty Beauty founder spotted someone in the back of the video of her and Rocky dancing who appeared to be shooting them something of a side-eye.

When uploading the footage online, she joked in the caption: "My x in the studio."

Rihanna had an on-off relationship with Drake from 2009 to 2016.

Speaking of studios, according to Rocky, that's where his other half is currently spending a lot of her time.

During an appearance on The Jason Lee Podcast on Wednesday (5 August), the rapper revealed that she is 'cooking' up some new music 'right now'.

All in all, it's a great week to be a Rihanna fan.
