Kim Kardashian shares ‘final straw’ that ended marriage with Kanye West

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West divorced in 2022

Kim Kardashian has revealed what the 'final straw' was that ended her marriage to Kanye West.

The celebrity couple were together for several years and have four children, but in November 2022, they finalised their divorce to end almost seven years of marriage.

Since they split up, she's launched a controversial line of underwear which is designed to look like pubic hair, and he's... well, how long have you got?

There were the antisemitic comments, which got him banned from a lot of places, Adidas investigated him over allegations that he sent porn to employees, his fans are demanding refunds after the 'worst gig ever', and he posted KKK style robes as his 'outfit of the day'.

He's also found the time to marry Bianca Censori and release a new album, WW3, which contains tracks called 'Heil Hitler' and 'Free Diddy', as well as a tune titled 'Bianca', where it sounds as though she's left him.

Explaining why her marriage to Kanye fell apart, Kardashian talked about one of the hardest things involved with being hitched to the singer.

Appearing on the Call Her Daddy podcast, Kardashian said: "You never know what you're going to get when you wake up, and that's a really unsettling feeling."

When asked about the 'final straw' in their marriage, which made her decide to file for divorce, the reality TV star put it down to a 'lack of stability'.

Kardashian also mentioned that there was 'airing out a lot of personal stuff', such as Kanye once publicly saying that they'd considered an abortion during her pregnancy with their first child, North West.

She also said that another reason she decided to file for divorce was due to 'not feeling safe emotionally and financially', as the 44-year-old detailed one instance where she '[came] home and [they] would have five Lamborghinis', however, 'they would be gone' after an 'episode' where he allegedly gave them away 'to all of his friends'.

Talking further about her marriage, she said: "People can say that there was, like, signs and maybe I didn't wasn't paying attention to them. And I think when someone has, like, their first, like, mental break, you know, you wanna be super supportive and you wanna, like, help figure that out and you wanna really get into that with them and and be there for them."

Claiming that West wasn't 'willing to make changes' that she thought would be 'super healthy and beneficial', she added: "It makes it really hard to continue on in a relationship that can be toxic. When you have kids, it's definitely harder to leave than it is to stay. And it changes everyone's life forever."

Despite this, she says that she welcomes 'a great healthy relationship' with Kanye following their divorce as they continue to co-parent their children.

Following their split, Kim said she started having success with some projects, which she takes as a sign of the 'universe rewarding me'.

However, she described struggling without Kanye, saying he was the one who'd really got her into fashion and art.

She previously recounted being nervous about going out without him as she had to choose her own outfit and had previously sought Kanye's advice on 'everything'.

However, she said she had 'no regrets', adding: "I have four amazing, beautiful babies."
